Can't seem to progress with these. I've been going to the gym for 2 months now, started at 30kg, I can't go beyond 35. Every lift has increased except this specific one, what gives?

Do assisted pull ups
This
Do pull ups in general it greatly improves the assisting muscles in your back
I mounted a pull up bar in my apartment despite going to the gym. Whenever I walked past it I did as many pull ups as I could and thus increases my lifts without any noticeable extra effort
do em properly. it's easy to sit down and pull like a moron but that doesnt mean your making use of the right muscles. Those used to be my worst lift and now it's my best for some fricking reasons
Are you saying I should do lower weight but really focus on the form?
Nah more like something isn't adding up with how light that weight is you should be able to progress. How many sets how many reps are you doing with 30kg?
I always go with either 8 or 12 reps for my lifts on machines
So what you're saying is that you can't do 8 reps with 35kg? But you can with 30kg? Idk using variable reps every set makes it difficult to gauge progress, you should just do straight sets.
I can do 8 with 35, but I can't go beyond 35, 40 is too hard, and it's been like for far too long
you aren't doing them correctly.
It depends how many reps you are doing on this exercice at 35 ? Have you checked your form also ?
does this look good enough ?
Left no right barely but manlet
Dyel exercise
Just swing your whole bodys momentum into it bro you can easily pump those numbers up with a bit if cheating.
If you're really stuck try progressing in reps rather than weight. Like pick a weight you can do 3x8 with, then next time try doing 3x9, then 3x10, etc. When you hit 3x12 jump up to a weight you can only do for 3x8.
AVOID THIS STUPID MEME EXERCISE
It. Is. A. MEME! It does not do anything! Just do pullups instead!
I swear to god the ONLY people who use this thing are dyels. ONLY. STOP USING THIS SHIT.
Wrong. They’re an accessory, do them to completely burn your lats out at the end of your back day. I like the close neutral grip attachment better than the bar
I haven't done this shit in ages ever since I managed to do over 2 pull ups. Tried it today for old times sake and was surprised I could do like 70kg for 10 reps. Feels good.
I always do stabilizer muscles on chest/back days
lat pulldowns would be worked into a back day as either a warmup or burnout after deadlifts with low reps and higher weight
it helps to do some chest work for a pump so I can feel my chest better and keep it tight while pulling
now on chest days I will add in high rep pulls like a lat pulldown to get an upper back pump while helps keep it tight while pressing
the better my form is while doing lat pulldowns the more weight I can move and the pumps are much better
