Did the healthy eating, did the exercise, still have depression, had it all my life it's genetic mom and grandmother have it too.
SSRI's are obviously out of the question.

Try bupropion - not addictive, you can stop at any time with no withdrawals. Helps with weight-loss if you can't put the fork down.
BUT it makes it so decision-making is easier, so if you feel like you're actually about to off yourself don't take it.
>Try bupropion
Yes, Im on this. Makes me more motivated and energetic, increases sex drive and probably increase testosterone (it does in rats). Makes me more confident and less anxious and self conscious socially. Makes me care less about shit that would normally irrationally trigger me and make me seethe for hours. Makes me care less about what other people that I don't care about think. People that I don't know are basically npcs to me now. Basically turns me from a lazy shut-in procrastinating neurotic weirdo into more of a normie. I don't even feel like I'm on a drug. No side effects except mild ones at the beginning when first starting. Coffee legit feels like more of a unnatural drug than this.
>Testosterone enanthate 175mg a week.
Didn't work, probably because my mental problems had nothing to do with testosterone. Still felt like a low T beta on testosterone at any dose, so I went back to natty. Wellbutrin on the other hand actually makes me feel like my test is 2000 ng/dl mentally.
>it makes it so decision-making is easier,
Oh frick yeah, I'm terrible with decisions
>so if you feel like you're actually about to off yourself don't take it
Oh, tricky
yeah post cbt
prozac
>SSRI's are obviously out of the question.
I'm on those. How fricked am I? Already failed first tapper attempt.
>Already failed first tapper attempt.
its fricking over
If anything, it offered me a 2 year break from anhedonia and suicidal thoughts. I'm skeptical wether I could keep the current mood with a successful tapper but I don't really care. I survived my symptoms and am prepared to face them again. I want to quit the thing so I can try psychedelics and ketamin. Also, bupropion looks like what I need according to
.

It depends on what is causing your brain malfunction.
If it has nothing to do with dopamine or norepinephrine, it might not work, or it will kinda work but also give weird side effects.
>Makes me more confident and less anxious and self conscious socially. Makes me care less about shit that would normally irrationally trigger me and make me seethe for hours
Sounds exactly like what I need. What about memories of past failures or shameful evens?
>What about memories of past failures or shameful evens?
It just makes you react more normally to them. Like you become more resistant to negative emotions and thoughts.
Like a normal mentally healthy person will think of past failures and shameful events and might just cringe a little for 10 seconds and then move on with their life. Or they might even think its kinda funny in hindsight, as it happened so long ago and doesn't really matter at the present.
Definitely for me. What about traumas if you have some?
I don't think I have any traumas, but maybe something happened during my childhood that might be considered abuse.
Why don't you address them using your own mind instead of trying to take some magic pill?
There's an entire field of science focused around dealing with them, it's not something you get through with a 5min conversation in the mirror
have a nice day
What the hell is tapper in this context?
I assume you aren't soliciting gay sex in men's bathrooms.
Progressive dose reduction to quit the drug
Oh, taper.
Oh my fricking God, why are there so many ssri and ibuprofen salesmen on this board. STOP BROWSING HERE AND READ RAY PEAT IBUPROFEN WILL GIVE YOU HEART DISEASE AND CANCER YOU homosexual
What part of my post made you think I shilled SSRIs?
learn to read, he said bupropion not ibuprufen lmao
Nature.
lifting is my anti depressant
Mirtazapine, TCAs/MAOIs, off-label stimulants, bupropion, ultra low-dose amisulpride
mirtazapine will make you fat and give you brain fog
t. knower
It just increases appetite, mostly through the histaminergic effects, it's also what provides the sedation/sleep effects which can be a good or bad thing depending on the person (i.e. can be a life saver for insomniacs). It's not unique in potentially increasing appetite
Testosterone enanthate 175mg a week. No more depression, you'll make sick gains and rail prostitutes within an inch of death. Sprinkle in 25mg of Tren Ace EOD for maximum paranoia.
>Sprinkle in 25mg of Tren Ace EOD for maximum paranoia.
ketamine Black person
TRT, honestly.
Turns out a lot of ADD or depressive disorders are actually low test.
get nicotine pouches they cost a few euros and release happy chemicals
SSRIs are just drugs with a nice label but the truth is people take drugs because they flood the brain with chemicals
u need prescription for one but for others u dont
Nicotine..interesting idea. But isn't the nicotine effect very short lived?
Bupropion was awesome but it pooped out after 4-5 months and gave me Tinnitus and weird feelings on the right side of my face, my whole head felt like a noose was tightening around it.
I'm now trying the most unknown antidepressant: Moclobemide a reversible MAO inhibitor, came out about at the same time SSRi's did and went under the radar because of that.
>Moclobemide
Apparently this can increase testosterone I've read. So its IST friendly.
Try 5-htp
Trazodone
>it's genetic
It's never solely genetic. If it were solely genetic, your ancestors wouldn't have been capable of reproducing and you wouldn't exist. You might have a genetic predisposition for developing it more easily than other people, but that doesn't mean you're doomed to have it under any circumstances. In 99 % of cases, depression in caused by the circumstances a person is living in, not genetics.
I stack 0.40g shrooms with a 36mg Ritalin Monday to Friday. everyone around me is amazed by how uplifting, productive and innovative I’ve become compared to my old self. Feels good bros to be making your own success.
Where can I get shrooms as europoor, I'm afraid to pick them from nature because I just know I'll eat the wrong ones.
try a drug dealer u idiot
Buy them from your local drug dealer
Grow them, its easy and the spores are often not controlled.
Anyone that still prescribes those is a quack, they have been shown to not work in a metastudy last year. Take LSD or mushrooms.
>they have been shown to not work
For a resisting third of the patients. Also, it doesn't work the way it was thought, but still works for two thirds of the patients. Did you actually read that paper? I agree with psychedelics. Add ketamine to the list.
>bro we just got the entire theoretical basis for our treatment wrong but just trust us because it works sometimes
Would you step into a rocket that uses the geocentric model for navigation?
There are people who believe in homeopathy. 66% > placebo, at least. But did you read that study or just parroted some dumb journalists though.
Before you tell me to stop taking sertraline, no
It really has saved my life
I do have mild erection and arousal issues from it though
Are there any supplements I can take to counteract this?
Absolutely. And after a while you can take a third drug to counteract the blood pressure issues from the dick medication. And after a while you can take even a fourth drug to counteract the sides from the blood pressure medication! And then a fifth! And then a sixth!
I guess I'll just stop taking them and kill myself then
Sounds like TRT.
>take testosterone
>estrogen goes too high
>need to take AI
>increased hair loss
>need to start finasteride
>balls are shrinking
>need to take HCG
>blood is getting too thick
>need to donate blood
>blood pressure going up
>need to take lisinopril
>for some reason DHEA and pregnenolone is low
>need to take supplements
>dick performance is too inconsistent because estrogen is up and down
>need to take cialis just in case
>I do have mild erection and arousal issues from it though
doctors usually prescribe wellbutrin to deal with that
the combo is called welloft
Black person doctor won't prescribe it for some reason
Dark chocolate daily
BBC?
>had it all my life it's genetic mom and grandmother have it too.
>genomics becoming mainstreamed to laymen has been a disaster for the human race.
You know hertiability studies just explain variance from random individuals of population right? Not the tissue's resiliency to change/treatment. Hair color for instance is practically entirely 'genetic' but if you want a different color than you just fricking dye your hair. Just because you're genetically predisposed to depression doesn't mean you'll be immune to treatment.
Dont fall for the psych drug israelite.
>inb4 bbbut muh depression
No. Stop. There is no correlation between 'depression' and chemical imbalance
