Left pic is just finasteride for 11 months, which froze my hair in that state with on visible improvement or deterioration.

Left pic is just finasteride for 11 months, which froze my hair in that state with on visible improvement or deterioration. Right is dutasteride + minox. Hair length is roughly the same give or take half an inch.

Is there an improvement or am I just huffing copium?

You've got a solid head of hair, despite what you may be telling yourself. As long as your routine can lock your hair in its current state for a couple decades it will have done more than its job.

you look good bro don't worry

If you take a look at your friends' heads you'll find that almost everyone has some thinning at the crown. Unless there's a clear change in that shit over the last 6-12 months I wouldn't worry about it.

I remember when I first cut my hair short at 23 I saw that my temples were slightly thin and panicked. Spent a year or so convinced that I would be bald by 25. I just turned 32 and there's been zero change in that time. I tried fin just as an insurance policy, but after several months I found it gave me massive brainfog so I gave it up.

Don't be scared of fin, but it does change your hormones and you shouldn't take it lightly.

Almost everyone? No, you're most likely mistaking a normal parting for thinning. There's always some scalp apparent under light at a parting.

It depends on age. At 20 you won't see a lot of thinning, but 30+? Almost everyone has some.my0ks4

How bald are you willing to go? 25-35 is prime malding age. You either start now and keep your current hair or wait until you're 30 and a terminal norwie III.

        t. waited until I was 31

Good and in a few years you can reverse grey hair.

This and EVERY man should be on finasteride not just to prevent hair loss. Finasteride improves cardiac function, attenuates cardiac hypertrophy, fixes left ventricular dysfunction, and reduces cardiac event scaring, reverts pathologic gene-expression after myocardial events, and prevents benign prostatic hyperplasia, reduces dihydrotestosterone, increases testosterone. Those are the effects of finasteride. The primary effect was for benign prostatic hyperplasia. Those other effects, INCLUDING PREVENTING HAIR LOSS, are the side effects of finasteride. Literally every man on IST should be on finasteride. Men are more likely to have a heart attack and those on finasteride get less scaring and deaths from heart attacks than men who are not on finasteride. The same cannot be said for dutasteride which is better for hair loss.

pretty much over for me i spent like 5 years not giving a shit about my life and now im balding so fricking hard its unreal. wish i had gone on fin like 6 years ago i'd be in a much better position right now. started it like 2 weeks ago but i think its too little too late.
been trying rosemary oil to promote hair growth but if that doesn't work it's over for me. I had such nice hair too when i was younger, just never took care of it.

I am balding a bit but holy frick it's slow.
It's like do I keep or just take the Bronson pill?
None of my grandparents have balding eugenics, just big forehead widow peaks.
My family and girlfriend wants me to keep my hair.
But I just really hate being lukewarm about things.
Either do it or don't, ya know?

GRD on dutasteride? Does it not have the terrible side effects of fin?

Almost no one has side effects on fin. I certainly didn't and I ran it for 11 months at 2.5 mg. Dutasteride is stronger and I have no sides on that either.

Dutasteride is more powerful than finasteride. Dut reduces DHT by 90% while reduces it by 70%.
