I've never had the displeasure of cooking my own meal. Unfortunately I may soon be forced to try my hand at cuisine, as is custom for humans wishing to spend less on external chef food, assorted and bussed by non-culinary staff in an establishment specifically prepared for such circumstances. What is that meat and how does one acquire it? Can you perhaps provide an image of what that meat looks like uncooked, in it's clear packaging?

Is this actually true? I see posts about this on Instagram and I always thought it was fat ppl coping and making excuses not to make food at home. And by groceries I envisioned them buying slop

depends on what youre buying i guess. im in an extrmeely high cost of living area and things will go on sale that i can stock up on, like when ground beef goes to 2 or 2.50 a pound i ended up with 15-20 pounds in the freezer

i also still live at home at 32 because im a pathetic loser and technically i dont buy groceries, but i pay my parents rent which goes toward groceries.

I actually was eating a half pound of 93/7 and 6 eggs for dinner every night and I ended up cutting out the ground beef. After a few weeks I just didn’t feel as good as I did when I wasn’t eating red meat. Switched it for 6 more eggs. Feel great again. That said, if I go out to eat I’ll get red meat but it’s not an every day thing for me anymore 🙁

i went through the same shit as i got older. any kind of red meat is more of a thing i treat myself to now. it digests way too frickin slow and messes my stomach up for like an entire day
i stick to mostly chicken, eggs and turkey now

Honestly, I find it much cheaper than "normal" eating. Sure steak is expensive, but there are plenty of cuts that are cheap, and just as good when cooked properly. And mince is always a good choice, too. Eggs are still quite cheap here in Europe, you Americans are fricked on that front ig. Shouldn't have let Bill Gates buy your entire food production capacity, homosexuals

Meat and eggs won't give you a heart attack. Grains and seed oils will. Egyptians had rampant heart disease on a grain based seed oil diet. Not just in the elites.
