I've never seen a kettlebell go above 50kg. The kettlebells at my gym go up to 32kg, so that renders kettlebell cleans useless as well in terms of training power/explosiveness, and renders squats useless in terms of building strength.
With a barbell and plates, I can load up a sufficiently high weight, and can do a far wider range of movements leading to a more complete workout.
Oly lifting gyms/coaches are generally less accessible for most people than kettlebell coaches. It's also faster and safer to get good kettlebell clean form than barbell clean form.

You don't need a coach if you're not looking to compete. There is so much information available online, the only requirement to learning a barbell C&J or snatch is to not be a full-fledged moron...

You can get stimulus to the muscles for muscle gain purposes with high speed movements and explosive movements, and increased time under tension. You can also stimulate muscle growth with lowering your rest periods. You can program kettlebells with all of the above.
