Start lifting since your first year of uni, don’t leave Waterloo to go to stay with your smelly brother in Toronto during breaks(has no food in his fridge), do isolations from day one, learn proper form on bench and OHP, buy a program when you become an intermediate lifter
should've asked for bf as well
Bodyfat?
no your number of boyfriends
of course bodyfat
🙂
Not sure probably 17-18 but this is my pic , yes I know I am black

I think that's a lot higher than 17-18%
What do you think I am not flexing in the pic if it affects you decision
Do morons actually post on here? Kek
Yeah I do so regularly

I can confirm. We're not all pasty faced hillbillies. Some of us have pigment.

1 plate OHP for reps of 8
2 plate bench for 8-10

Don't waste time doing any strength or powershitter related routines if you goal is to LOOK GOOD. Go right to a simple proven to work bodybuilding routine such as PPL or a brosplit.
seems like you're only doing PP
>where are you at
Don't OHP at the moment, 2 plate bench, about to test my squat and deadlift but I'll probably get 3 and get within 20 pounds of 4. Another training block or two and I hope to have a total over 1000.

Start lifting at 17 instead of waiting. I wasted years of my life without ever touching a barbell.
13 weeks ago was December. Is this AI?
He's been going since may, with breaks. The last 13 weeks has been consecutive.
>claimed the 2pl8 bench in 3 months, can probably claim the 4pl8 diddly in a month but focusing on dumpster squat. I unironically did the 2pl8 bench for a single before I did 2pl8 squat for reps, high bar ATG tho
>Don't OHP heavy, projected is just shy of 1pl8 with a true strict press and not the janky ass standing incline push bench press people pass off as their strict press number

don't bulk retard
Why don't you buy some more fucking weights?
For me I started last July at 6'4 180. I'm at 215 now and close grip bench bodyweight for a few, press 140x5, squat 285x5 and deadlift 405x5
After seeing that Rippetoe video where he said I should weigh 300 I'm going to bulk hard very soon to at least 250
.6 / 1 / 1.5 / 2.5
3 months
6'0" 190 lbs
natty
I'm still basically just starting out.

your diet is important, eat right get protein in everyday its so important more than anything else make sure you eat
Also get on Arnold Program and lift heavier, track your lifts, consistency beats intensity. Don't stop no breaks don't quit
>where are you on 1/2/3/4
Currently at 115 OHP/185 BP/225 Squatz/260 diddlies (yes I know this is shit, I'm debating dropping this meme exercise). All are for 5 reps tho. I don't train 1RM
>how long been consistently working out in total
About 9/10 months now. I feel these are shit compared to what I should be at and how much I'm literally gasping for air on the floor at the gym pushing myself.
>weight and height
5'9, a lil over 170lbs. At about 18% BF since I fell for the bulking meme
>natty or not
natty, but I'm close to thinking about leaving humanity behind and just hopping on the juice
>one advice you wanna give to your past self when just starting out
Bulking is a meme. Deadlifts are also a meme powershitter exercise. Sets of 8-12 are better than sets of 5, aka hypertrophy fuckboy bodybuilding programs > powershitter routines. Actually train cardio
You are weak and don't know anything and aren't entitled to an opinion. At least get your DL above 3 plates before you decide you know the score
Also fell for bulking. I have had to lose a ton of weight over the last 3 months as I get back into it.
To gain muscle you usually need more protein, but not necessarily more calories. I have been in a deficit the last few months but have gained a significant and noticeable amount of muscle.
You are small and weak
Fattie cope
Plateaued at 1/1.9/3/3.5 after a year of training at 155 lbs bodyweight. 4 years later I'm 1.1/2/3.2/3.9 at 170 lbs bodyweight, but my kickboxing is leagues better than it ever was and I'm zercher squatting 155 for sets of 20, doing one handed knuckle pushups for sets of 20, doing weighted chinups with 60 lbs attached, stiff legged deadlifting 185 for 15, and a few other things I could never do a few years ago. Progress is sporadic but it's happening.
Oh, sorry, didn't answer all the questions. 5'8" height, natty, and the one piece of advice is to stop trying to max out and spare yourself the year off due to overeagerly overloading deadlifts and pulling a hip abductor/rotator.
>where are you on 1/2/3/4
Current max’s: 150/215/220/240 (I know, weird ratios)
> how long been consistently working out in total (don't count 6 year breaks ffs)
On a 3 month stretch of PPL but had lots of muscle memory for various 3-6 months stretches over the past 5 years.

Eat more protein, learn to count macros.

1/2/3/4 is hit by the average gym goer in 6 months. If you're asking this question then you're probably a dyel twink. It probably took me a month or 2 to hit all those numbers.
Shitty bait. Anyone who's been in a gym would see that most gym goers can't hit 1/2/3/4
> where are you on 1/2/3/4
Hit this after 1 year of continous lifting in my 20s. 37 now and progressed to reps 1.5/2.5/3.5/4.5

Save yourself 10 years of minimal gains and run steroids after 3-5 years lifting natty. Don't do them before you're 25.
- 185 OHP/ 235 bench/ 295 squat/ I don't deadlift
- 5 years (I started at 34 years old. Being near 40 sucks)
- 5'8" 181 lbs
- Natty
- Don't dick around in the gym
