lets talk rooning
where do you like to roon? are you training for anything?
do you wear a fitness watch to track your roons? if so, what do you got and what do you think about it?
do you take any pre-workout/supplements before a long roon?

>where do you like to roon?
Central park, riverside park
>are you training for anything?
NYC Marathon
>do you wear a fitness watch to track your roons? if so, what do you got and what do you think about it?
Garmin forerunner 245. I love it, thinking about getting a chest strap though for more accurate HR
>do you take any pre-workout/supplements before a long roon?
I wake up at 6 am, chug water and then am out the door. Did 14 miles last sunday, have 15 miles up this sunday
Does garmin have a better heart rate data than fitbit?
i have no idea i've only ever used garmin and I have never compared it to a chest strap. someone problem has done the comparison though
you should look into the coros pace 2
The patricians choice.
Love me pace 2
idc if fitbit has any issues, but as a rule, the bigger the watch, the worst the wrist HR. A dedicated HRM paired to your watch is the way to go if you care about accuracy during activities.
Impressive, neighbor anon. Good friend of mine did the NYC marathon just passed. good luck with your training. I'm new too running and I have some questions if you don't mind and are still gonna see them.
>How long did it take you to build up to 15 miles?
>What's your mile time?
>What was your starting point?
I get frustrated going around the Central Park reservoir but it's a good endurance check (at my level). I'll have to time myself on the track and figure out my mile time.
I hike and enjoy seeing all the stacys who seem to have recently taken it up. I dont track, I just do marked trails. Only supplement is coffee, though I like to pack a picnic if I’m going with a girl of cheese, wine, baguette and fruit
Dude this is a running thread not a walking around and having picnics thread
It’s cardio general, hiking and exhibitionist sex is cardio
>girl of cheese, wine, baguette and fruit
Truly a gift from the cosmos.
It’s very pleasant, do you want to go sometime?
>where do you like to roon? are you training for anything?
I like to run late at night at the local track. I also like running in the rain. I can run longer and more comfortably at night, especially in the summer
>do you wear a fitness watch to track your roons? if so, what do you got and what do you think about it?
no but I'm interested in picking one up to track my runs and stuff
>do you take any pre-workout/supplements before a long roon?
this is gonna sound weird but I like to drink a beer before a long run. a 12oz double IPA (7.5% ABV) and I effortlessly get into my stride. I prefer it over taking stimulants and stuff
This pic has everything I need in life. Nice girl, sunshine and a rooning path.
how do i stop stomping on the treadmill
maybe try some different shoes, something with a larger heel lift?
Walk uphill and don't be an elephant
Do a slight tip-toeing. Your calves will hate you
Will I get to see asses like that if I go rooning?
as long as you pick college track fields and gyms for rooning, then YES!, mi fren
yeah, especially at tracks. I have 15/20 vision so I like to run 20 yards behind a stacy and watch her ass jiggle
asses like what
Absolutely
I roon in the street in my neighborhood because I live in the shit-ass suburbs and have to drive 20-30min to get to any decent trail/track
I've had so many close calls from women and Black folk in SUVs not giving a frick
>where?
In the country, parks
>training?
Training for my local 10k right now, want to get sub 45, I've ran the pace for 8k and need to push it to 10k in a month (doable I think)
>watch?
Garmin venu 2, love it. So many features.
>supplements?
Yeah, some preworkout before the run. I've just bought some gels, but I haven't used them yet, waiting for a long enough run.
anyone here ever snuck into a race?
some of these race fees are getting pretty ridiculous, I just wanna roon for fricks sake
I'm secretly training to join special forces
Running gives me these spots on my chest and neck that look like acne but never develop heads, and they take days to go away. Google says that it's heat rash but none of the pictures look like what I've got. Any of you guys got this and/or know how to fix it?
