I'm watching original dragonball. Bout 50 eps in and it's starting to drag. Was cool at first but becomes very evident it's a kids show and it was not some big planned out thing. Should I just skip straight to kai or what
>but becomes very evident it's a kids show and it was not some big planned out thing.
Foolish of you to think Z/Kai isn't the same thing. It's not even a separate story.
I know but it was cool at the start I was really digging it through the tournament. I'm not expecting it to not be a kids show because it is but red ribbon army gays are killing me slowly I wanna see goku train and get stronger and fight homies

The King Piccolo and Piccolo Jr arcs at the end are peak kino. You can skip to those
This
Just go to the 22nd tenkaichi budokai and then continue from here The red ribbon arc is nearly over anyway. You should continue
This is why the browns are beating you, they don't mind enjoying fun battle scenes and stuff, the ~~*white*~~ man needs girly shit, right?
Fricking TROON.
was kind of decent at start becomes moronic shit when theyvstart doingbthis kamehamega shit. it is niiger-spic-slav-chud tier entertainment. not even very pleasant style to look at
Skip to the part where he's an adult, the Red Ribbon Army and Emperor Pilaf are the only things that stay relevant beyond that. The entire rest of the show is him having mid fights at tournaments and Yamcha NTR with Bulma getting raped by rabbits and shit, just skip to Piccolo arc.
Currently watching DBZ. I just watch an ep while I eat usually, since it doesn't demand real focus. Kind of annoyed by how Goku can spend 4 episodes just prancing down the snake road though.

You guys know there's more to TV and media than just the big climactic parts right? It's about getting to know the characters and their wants and how they interact with each other.
Going only to the most climactic parts is the equivalent of eating junk food instead of a normal dinner.
Mine as well just shoot dopamine into your system instead of watching anything.
It's called having patience. And liking to watch the characters.
As silly as people may think it sounds, I actually enjoyed all the "filler" of dragon ball. I liked watching Goku and Bulma and Oolong talk to each other, and watching him and Krillin train with Master Roshi. I liked the tournament that it lead up to, and I thought it was sweet when Roshi disguised himself as a contestant because he wanted to continue motivating Goku.
Maybe that's just me but I like watching stuff for those small but noticeable character moments. For me, those big fighting scenes only have purpose if I know who the characters are. I need to get emotionally invested in a character and series.
That may sound silly, but think about the reasons everyone loves Spongebob. Or any sitcom.
am the guy watching og dragonball. I enjoy all of that shit but what's not doing it for me is >red ribbon gays >random pirate treasure adventure being chased by extremely gay red ribbon gay >fighting through muscle tower full of red ribbon gays >random detour to doctor slump world for several episodes.
just Saturday morning kids cartoon shite. It's like long filler where nothing happens and nothing matters because obviously goku pops up at the last minute and cracks them with his super pole the end. I know goku is always gonna win but the training and world building stuff is so much better than all the boring crap. I'm not saying hanging around with oolong and Vilma is the boring crap that's the good stuff
>would you force your son to lift even if he didn't like it?
If he really doesn't like lifting I'd have him do some other sport instead so he stays healthy at the very least.
You probably don't need to have your son weight lift until highschool. But they should be participating in sports. Specifically white sports like fencing, crew, no go jiu jitsu, kick boxing and shuffle board. When they get to highschool have them lift science based in your home gym. Don't ever let them play sports like basketball football or soccer. Those are bad for their development.
study harder whatever he's studying to brutally knowledge mog him.
demonstrate that you can both be fit and smart through an absolute atomic mogging.
like seriously, devastate him in whatever subject he's pursuing and make it look effortless, and then ohp his desk for many reps
Lift? No
I would force him to do sports at least twice a week though. He can choose, within reason, what he wants to do, but he will excercise and do some cardio work. No son of mine will be a fat out-of-shape frick.
Never put your eggs in one basket. You have multiple children and preplan for most of them to be duds. The one(s) that don't fail get the inheritance and most guidance later in life (18+).
>implying im not a life long virgin
i dont know what's worse being a life long virgin or only being able to have one night stands
Goku is a failure of a father for leaving him under the care of chichi. I hate all bardock spawn
Hey Bejita! Come check out this wart on my foreskin! It makes a funny noise when I pinch it!
>Sacrificed himself for the greater good of mankind
>Twice
Yeah, what a dick. Setting such a horrible example.
>Would rather be a nerd than hang out with pops and pump iron
You're either a bad father or your son is a homosexual.

Just read the manga.
Just skip to Z.
Dub or nah
Depends on whether prefer the circus music of the sub or want the Kino Bruce Faulconer soundtrack.

The Faulconer music is incredible. I don't understand why most people act like purists because it's not the original goofy japanese soundtrack.
I think they should have used both soundtracks
>Watching shounen slop
Unless you're brown or a child, it's beneath you. Watch something else.
no
Round about way of confessing you're brown. Go ahead I guess

There's a difference between character exploration and old ass dragon ball.
You don't go to dragon ball for character studies

Crew is a big toss up before high school, definitely better things you could do with your time. But the general idea of your post is good.
I agree. I want my future sons to focus on sports when they're growing
>would you force your son to lift even if he didn't like it?
If he doesnt like it i'll make another one that does
I don't get why lifting/gym is perceived as an entire life style change that will take all your time. An hour tops and you'll thank yourself for it.
Why lift or study when you can coom?
No kids for me I'm a genetic garbage fire and have bpd.
study harder whatever he's studying to brutally knowledge mog him.

Yes, I would slap my son for being so dumb. How are you supposed to make mental gains when your weak and out of breath at a slight breeze.
He doesn't have to lift, but I'll be fricked if I'm allowing him to be a stay at home gamer.
Stop his mother from brainwashing him
If you force him to lift that could have the opposite effect and make him hate lifting all together
