Do you suggest I stop bulking? Im thinking about maintaining this weight, build more muscle and then eventually cut

Definitely time to cut, you look above average but you have visible love handles. You'll look way more defined if you cut like 10-20lbs.

it's easy to see you work out, but most people make the same mistake (hard to blame them, since most fitness gurus are absolute grifters), they just eat too much when they "bulk" while all you need is stable 200-300kcal above your maintenance to build all the muscle you could possibly build as a natty
you CAN'T build muscle fast, no matter if you eat 500 or 1000kcal above your maintenance, but you sure as hell can get fat fast

it is indeed pretty surreal how hard this concept is for beginners to understand. its something so obvious but still so hard to grasp. i hate both bulking and cutting terms just in general too. like just fundamentally its so moronic, none of us are bodybuilders. none of us are doing competition cuts or using steroids (mostly).

its such an arbitrary concept anyways as we see here. other ppl "bulk" and they go from 10% abs to barely losing their abs during the entire year while others go from 24% starting bf to +30% in matter of months. are you bulking or are you just getting fat? complete beginners view it like they are ifbb pro's.

instead of bulking/cutting to an arbitrary number on scale you should imo look to have strength/muscle building phase and a leaning out phase. if you are not getting stronger you should eat more. if you are just getting fat and completely losing yourself in the mirror, you should eat less. and when its time to cut, if you are just absolutely destroying your strength, size, muscle, energy etc. you should probably eat a bit more.

it should be so obvious and intuitive. if you are fricking fat and you want abs, then you need to lean out. if you are skelly and you want to hit 1/2/3/4 then you need to build muscle.

Step 1: Never ask IST for advice. Here is only bitter dyels who think everybody with bigger arms than them is morbidly obese. You can't cut your way into looking bigger, regardless of what IST wants to believe
