The guest bathroom in my home always makes me look flabbier, while the one in the master bathroom makes me kinda like slim and okay looking with decent skin. And then don't get me started on cameras. On my phone's selfie cam I look like an abomination of a slob. I honestly don't know what to trust. When you really think about it, it's difficult to get an accurate representation of what you actually look like. Mirrors are distorted and subject to lighting discrepancies. It also flips your actual image. Cameras have different focal lengths, and can drastically change your appearance. I'd honestly like to figure out a proper way to see how I actually look to other people.
We are not equipped psychologically to look at ourselves all the time. Best to avoid looking at yourself as much as possible for your mental health.
