You can burn fat by walking 20k steps a day. It's slow but at least you won't have as nearly as much loose skin as you thought

I thought how fast you lose it doesn't make a difference?

I don't care what you do. Just know that you disgust me.

290 for 6'1 is not catastrophically fat. make no mistake you are fat as shit, but you still didn't pass the point of no return.

    I went from 280lb to 175lb at 6ft
I didn't have any loose skin. I had upper abs and a tight core, but below my belly button I still had a pouch of fat/belly
it wasn't bad and only noticable with my top off

      so it's not skin?

I don't think it was skin I think it was stubborn fat that I couldn't get rid off, I should have kept cutting
I had no loose skin on e.g. my chest or arms
you are a pretty tall guy, if you lose weight at a reasonable pace eat healthy food and moisturise your body you should be fine.

okay but how long did it take you, that's an important factor in loose skin.

I don't really get it either. I've seen people who have lost about as much weight at a similar weight/height and have no or little loose skin and i've seen people who have had a ton of loose skin.

I think the biggest factors are
    >Age
If you're under 30, you probably don't need to worry about being too old for your skin to regrow
    >Time
If you lose weight at extreme speed, whether naturally or surgically, then you're gonna end up with loose skin and there's nothing you can do about it. The slower you lose the weight, the less loose skin you'll have when you reach that goal because your skin is gonna have that time to adjust to your body changing and tighten up. Regardless of how fast you lose weight, if age isn't a factor, I think peoples skin do end up tightening up regardless. I don't know if there's a "beyond repair" state where you can have too much loose skin for your body to naturally recover or not.
    >Skin health
It should sound obvious but ANYTHING that creates healthy skin should allow your skin to more quickly regenerate. I don't remember everything that helps with skin but I know Collagen is the big one, I think zinc is also important for healing wounds which applies to tighten loose skin up.
    >Autophagy
This is basically the process of your body breaking down old or unnecessary cells and reusing them for nutrients or whatever. It's basically your body eating itself. This is good for weight loss and especially for getting rid of loose skin, since loose skin is made up of unnecessary cells. iirc you don't naturally enter autophagy unless your body is in a "starved" state, which is a big part of why fasting is so fricking good for weight and fat loss.

This isn't exactly getting RID of loose skin but there is no good reason why, if you want to lose weight, you shouldn't be trying to fill that loose skin with MUSCLE. You can buy a pull up bar for like $30 on amazon, you have no excuse.

Don't look at Boogie as discouragement for weight loss or the fear of loose skin. He cheated his weight loss and he's FRICKING OLD, of course this Black person is gonna have tons of loose skin.

You're young and 100 pounds overweight legitimately isn't as bad as it seems, you could burn all of that off in half a year and likely come out of it with minimum to NO loose skin if you don't try to FRICKING CHEAT.

Fast, exercise, count calories, you don't even need to change your diet beyond cutting out all of the bullshit junk (though eating healthier is just better). You'll shred pounds, you'll feel great, you'll look better.

Wut. If anything, he should be an encouragement for anyone not to be a fat clown like him

OP's post is him being worried about getting loose skin, to the point of asking if he should even bother losing weight, while posting a picture of boogie.

Boogie is a well known sad fat sack of shit. Not surprised he's a go-to pic
