that's what it feels like but the truth is that you had less muscle than you thought you had all along. natty lifting is so fricking hard bros...
natty lifting doesnt build actual muscle it just makes your muscles inflammed and filled with more blood, water, glycogen and lactic acid temporarily
natty lifting is a great way to put on bodyfat though, because lifting raises metabolism and hunger by a frickton
btw. even roided lifters struggle to put on muscle yet natty lifters think it can be done eau natural. Delussional
>roidtroony lifting doesnt build actual muscle it just makes your muscles inflammed and filled with more blood, water, glycogen and lactic acid temporarily
Fixed that for you. You demoralising pajeet shitskin.
You are just pathetic. I have 18" arms and I am natty.
It amazes me how some people can be so confidently moronic
it shouldn't amaze you that much on this website
>but the truth is that you had less muscle than you thought you had all along
I get routinely tested on bf% and lean mass %. While the measurement itself may not be so accurate (InBody), the trends it spits out correlate with how I look.
Okay? It correlates with how you look just like the guy said, the truth is that you had less muscle than you thought you had all along.
And obviously you dont lose 80% muscle and 20% fat. I dont give a frick about your tests, even the most accurate ones are super inaccurate and inbody is super inaccurate. Even dexascan is inaccurate. Or the fricking water floating thing. There is no trend, your few routine checks are just random data points that got slapped on a chart. It is literally impossible for human body to lose 80% muscle and 20% fat.
you might think this is a sad thing, but it's actually great.
you're not supposed to give unfunny bait a (you), at least make them put in some fricking effort.
how do you know for sure it's loss of muscle mass? did you measure your lifts? did you get your bodyfat % checked? bodyfat is hormonally regulated, so of course cutting your calories hard will not reduce it easily. it's better to eat in a consistent but low deficit and train regularly. 200-300 calorie deficit is ENOUGH, combined with weights and light jogging often. eat less carbs to reduce your insulin levels so you store less fat and badabing badaboom you are shredded in no time.
>how do you know for sure it's loss of muscle mass?
Got bf% testing before and after obv.
you need to cut and bulk insanely slowly if you want to preserve any muscle. There is a reason most natties are either turbolards or skinny twinks. Also doesn't help most lardies don't have any work ethic say they will fast and binge eat 400 calories of sweets before bed without moving all day. and twinkgays having the opposite problem
Two possibilities. Cutting too fast or not enough protein. You are probably doing both.
Could be, yeah.
You only need to be in a 500 calories deficit to lose a pound a week. You should also be eating 50% higher protein than your maintenance or the alternate rule is 1 grams per 1 lb of muscle. I assume you are measuring your muscle composition so you should be able to calculate your daily protein maintenance quite easily and get a more accurate measure of how much protein you should be eating.
This plus you need to fight nails and tooth keeping your lifts at same level (on average - shit days happen). Cutting seriously while keeping serious muscle is tough anon. You can make it doable with proper diet and training
After years of fighting this shit, I've decided to say frick the muscle mass, just get shredded and never let myself get unshredded again. I'll try to put some strength back on once summer is over, but I'm done bulking just to have to cut again forever. Not worth the trouble.
The longer the bulk and the longer the cut the better your results will be. You can't stay shredded forever though unless you have the genetics for it. It is best to get enough muscle where you look good at about 12-15% bf.
Did you do cardio or just eat at a deficit? If I crank out a lot of cardio my fat melts off fast
your doing cico bullshit. you still eat fattening fat which rapes your insulin sensitivity.
my doctor says eat all steak and no bread.
Lol, there was that thread the other day about how CICO is bullshit but from the other perspective, saying you should just cut the carbs and eat fats and proteins.
Ig you think about how people traditionally ate you would get most of your calories from a small selection of things at any given time. Our bodies are probably set up to digest mainly one type of energy at a time. I think both carnivore and vegan diets kind of work for that reason. I have lost weight on both without even trying. Until domestication and farming it was likely quite rare to have tons of carbs and meat at the same time.
There is more to a (successful) cut than just cico bro. The best way is to keep eating as you are but do extra cardio. I've just cut from 91kg post bulk to 78kg now and seen zero strength, endurance or general performance loss. Cardio + increasing daily steps is the way. The gays who cut by starving themselves always lose their gainz and cut their bench press PR in half
Meshi is overrated
Ratio determined by sleep, protein intake, micronutrient intake (aka quality of nutrition) and speed of weight loss (your deficit might be too large)
