Losing all my hair, finasteride not working, I'm on 23 help me

2023 and the only cure for baldness is to destroy your T to troony levels.

Took finasteride for a two years. Lift went down and progress stalled. Hair was still falling out.

Went to three different hair specialist and they can't do nothing. One suggested to look at Turkey and hair transplant.

I'm 23 and nearly lost all my hair.

Shave it. You'll look way better bald than someone who's trying their hardest to hold on to what hair they have left.

any way to thicken hair? does fin really just help against hairloss ?

      Anonymous

Simple answer, dutasteride until Pyrilutamide releases in America.

Finasteride has a mild restorative effect, but Minoxidil, PRP injections or a hair transplant are your options for increasing density.

Sportsball is the socially sanctioned tribalism of <current year>.
In the past it was country vs country, race vs race.
Now it's utterly meaningless, arbitrary, commercialised, and changing yearly.

Came here off the front page. Shave it and grow a beard, from the looks of it you don't have a caved in skull from playing professional grab ass, so you should be able to pull it off.

I'm 25, started balding at 19 and ignored it until 6 months ago when I noticed a huge bald spot in the crown area.
I only used topical minoxidil, also improved my diet for a high protein one, started doing a lot of excercise and exposed myself to the morning sun (only using boxers) for 8 minutes each day; 6 months in and is like nothing have ever happened to my hair, pretty satisfied with the results.
I also have heard microneedling and finasteride are the next step for more difficult cases, you mentioned using finasteride already, so try minoxidil, increase your sun exposure, check your magnesium levels and see if you can get microneedle treatments in your local dermatologist clinic (don't do it yourself, and if you do, don't use dermarollers).
Wish you luck fellow balding man

this is honestly the best solution, I don’t see why more people don’t do this instead of trooning out with fin/min

If you’re still losing hair on fin then something else is up hormonally. Do you have any signs of estrogen dominance? Erectile dysfunction or weight gain etc? Elevated estrogen levels (which can sometimes be brought on by fin) can cause chronic telogen effluvium.

      Anonymous

Finasteride raises test and estrogen only by 10% and no, estro can’t cause any kind of hairloss.

        Anonymous

lol. Hormonal imbalances such as estrogen dominance can and will induce telogen effluvium.

Testosterone doesn’t cause hairloss, DHT does. Finasteride and dutasteride lower DHT while slightly increasing testosterone. You can even use TRT while on fin/dut without losing you hair.

Love how people say just shave it bro don't be worried about your looks only women put effort in

Like shaving your head every morning isn't effort as opposed to just letting it grow and cutting it every few months, oh no I missed a day and now my giant horse shoe hairline is showing, chad shave ftw kek

Bro, first, watch this Andrew Huberman video on hairloss https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZrlsVx85ek
(He is a poster here I am sure)
I have been stamping 1.5mm 1x a week plus rogaine plus increasing zinc and protein. Noticing a big increase after just 2 months. I had a bald spot at the crown and HOLY SHIT it is almost back.
Have also been using a DHT blocking shampoo and conditioner daily with Nitrozal shampoo once a week to keep any fungal / bacteria issues at bay.
I am adding saw palmetto and caffeine to my routine. It's become a ritual that I do before bed time.
    good luck fren.

Huberman is a moron who shills every supplement known to humanity with zero research or some weak rat studies and his followers eat that shit up because he has a PhD in an unrelated field.

fren, we all have bills to pay. If he has sponsors and needs to shill, that's a fair exchange for me. No one should work for free.
Me and the other balding frens will check out the huberman video and decide ourselves. Also he posted a very good link on a clinical study proving microneedling worked.

I forgot to add that no way am i touching finistrade. The potential side effects are just too risky for me - would rather lose my hair than my dick not work AND be suicidal. Be sure to check out the links in his show notes for the Huberman video.
