I started running again and was afraid it's going to hurt again, but turns out the strength training I did during the hiatus was not in vain.
I still feel it sometimes, also during OHP, but mostly the day after, but in general proper warm up and a good 10-15 minutes stretching session helps. If everything fails, ibuprofen cream is going to get rid of it for a few days.
Mine has gotten so bad I'm getting erectile dysfunction lately. The ache is chronic, but it's getting better from stretches and strength exercises. I don't know if it is getting too late though, I'm only 29
Impressive. Will try this, but I'm always weary of videos that claim to have the answer. Those movements don't look optimal. They are putting strain on the spine. The question is how he will be in 5 or 6 years from now. Maybe his pinched lower back nerves will be replaced with other issues like herniated discs across the spine
I will never stop shilling this. I coulldnt make it past 4 minutes at first. Now the whole thing is a breeze and i feel infinitely better. Give it a shot if you have lower back pain.
Car accident required some minor rehab now I have sciatic nerve pain every so often and have to take NSAIDs and can't do any strenuous activities on these days. I stretch anywhere from 2-5 minutes a day and it doesn't seem to help with flexibility or pain. Is more stretching required than people say? It doesn't seem like much tbh
I've noticed that stretching only goes so far. After a while, pushing yourself doesn't do much, because it requires muscle activation elsewhere and it becomes inefficient. What I've noticed did a world of difference for me was when I started stagnating, I incorporated dumbbells to push the stretch further. I began seeing improvements by the day. I also activated the stretches antagonistic muscles and the gains were great. I looked at youtubers afterwards and saw that some recommend it, but not nearly many enough. The biggest stretching youtubers don't mention weights, which changed everything for me.
sometimes lower back pain is actually just glutes being angry. you can try this from a seated position, move your pelvis forward, then squeeze your glutes real hard while leaning forward slightly, do this for a few seconds.
I learned this yesterday, from this video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Hv0Qp_rQLYo
I was in bed, unable to sleep because my back was screaming and the nerves in my legs were annoyed. Had restless legs all night. For some reason, I stretched the hip flexor of the side that was in most trouble and it felt like heaven. I googled for hip flexor stretches, but not something like the usual, which I had done for years before. I saw that video, for the first time I became aware of the importance of the glutes when stretching, I had the arched back previously.
Added 20kg kettlebell weight and did the stretch, activating my glutes, and it felt so great and my glutes burned so much, and my lower back pain of that night was alleviated, it's insane. I've become optimistic about fixing my lower back pain by strengthening glutes ever since
Went to the doc today, got an inflammation in the last lumbal disc from ignoring minor pains earlier and skipping rest days.
Strict exercise pause for me.
Do your rest days and listen to your body sending pain signals.
Anyone ever had an issue where your lower erectors feel like they have severe doms that won't go away? Every time I stand up I have to like slowly straighten my back and that's when I feel the pain.
we doin curvy backs
Relatively good right now.

He has herniated discs and recovered with those exercises.
Minor stretches, sitting up straight, and eating a variety of foods fixed my chronic lower back pain ages ago.

My glutes are super tight I think, decided to take a break from squats. Bit of a bummer though as they're my strongest lift.
