See, they know it won't be accepted by this generation. Nobody with a functioning brain is going to choose to eat fricking bugs. But as time goes on they'll push harder and make it seem normalized, like they did with the homosexuals.

I really don't get this dislike of insects. Think about this - little girls are afraid of insects. As a man are you afraid of them? I've bought a few packets of dried insects before, they taste - ok I was going to say they taste delicious but actually they don't taste like anything, that's just the flavouring they add to them, but it tastes good. You get all the protein and without any of the carcinogens, fats and other downsides of meat. It's also definitely what our evolutionary ancestors ate, while our ancestors didn't have spears to go hunting with if you go back far enough.

      Insects >>>>>>>>>>>> imitation meat.

I doubt it's as good as meat when it comes to nutrtion. And when it catches on they'll try to ban meat in favor of the insects

Animal fat is healthy and extremely important for hormone production. You will slowly die if you don't get any fat. Look up rabbit starvation.

problem is that insects don't have any fat or any thats in a good amount but i tried some in high school

It's easy to add flavor to bugs. You could make sourcream&onion flavour or barbecue flavour if you just add the same powder as used on potato chips. (Even though it is mostly salt and sugar, which isn't super healthy)

Other than that, we have a ton of easily available spices like curry, paprika, garlic and shit.

They taste like shit and have a terrible nutritional profile, especially if mass raised and not fed a tailored diet of fresh vegetables. I guarantee if they were commercially as successful as other meat forms they'd be by far the worst choice, even compared to shit like tofu. Companies searching for lower quality alternatives are not your friend, advocate for humanity's interests not theirs.

        >while our ancestors didn't have spears to go hunting with if you go back far enough.
One of the first things early hominids did was scavenge meat from carcasses left behind by other predators. It's been theorized that some of our first use of tools was using rocks to crack open bones to eat the marrow that predators couldn't access. Marrow is such a calorie and nutrient dense food source that this is also theorized to be one of the things that gave us the surplus calories to begin developing larger brains.

        Alternatively:
We know very well that farm-raised fish are extremely unhealthy, cattle raised on grain produce garbage meat, etc etc but you think that insect farming is going to be different? Frick no, it's gonna be crickets fed on basedbean meal and they're going to be incredibly bad for you just like every other factory farmed animal.

"Theorized" by batshit ketards trying to claim meat is all that is good and holy. Everyone knows that man evolved in the forest to eat mainly fruit, everything about evolution, human dentition and gut show it. For the vitamin b12, excess protein for muscle growth etc. insects perform this function perfectly without many of the downsides of other meats sources. Why not at least have it as an option and see how it turns out?

            That image is dumb.
You could compare Gorillas and Chimps in the same manner, but Gorillas eat more like a cow than a chimp
Humans left monkey behind by eating meat clearly. Also it's not even possible to eat mainly fruit in certain climates year round, and humans have been living in these climates for 50k+ years at least

            >"Theorized" by batshit ketards trying to claim meat is all that is good and holy.
I understand that you're incapable of viewing the world from a point outside your agenda but the vast majority of evolutionary biologists are not out to push some dietary agenda. Outside of your frugivore vs keto schizo shit, it's widely agreed that meat consumption was a turning point in our evolutionary history. We began the process of developing into anatomically modern humans when we LEFT the trees full of fruit and started walking around on the ground.

Did we began as tree-dwelling frugivores? Pretty likely. But the climate changed, the forests started receding, and we adapted by developing adaptations for living on the ground. I've seen endless cherry picked meme comparisons like your from both sides and they're all moronic. There's nothing wrong with admitting that humans are omnivores who benefit greatly from plant and animal foods.

The fossil record is very clear about one thing in particular: when humans first arrived in an area, megafauna in that area went extinct pretty quickly. This is a consistent pattern across the world, and sites of human habitation from these periods are always full of animal bones that have very clearly been marked with tools from the process of removing the meat. Early humans ate so much meat that they literally hunted dozens if not hundreds of species of megafauna to extinction. Do you have an alternate explanation for this?

Good point, even if we start making quality meals from insects, the quality of massively farmed insects would be worse than the ones we have now.

                >intuition is the most non-npc sense in the world
It's quite the opposite, going by intuition makes an npc (which is why they fall for all tricks in marketing, media, popularizy etc.), while examining life, decisions and the way things work is what uplifts one as a true free (thinking) human.

                Anonymous

Wrong. Intuition is a primitive way of processing the world and making decisions. It's what ancient grugs used before we had developed higher intelligence and speech. Using LoGiC is the most NPC thing to do because it's highly vulnerable to manipulation, I mean logic is what scripting/programming relies on, which is THE definition of what an NPC is, one who follows scripts. Your based ancestors listened to their gut and were more masculine and successful than any of the basedboys that live today

Tastes like bitter shit, looks and smells unappetizing, has no good recipes without tortuous amounts of processing to make it palatable, and exists only as a Ugandan tier starvation food. Black folk eat dirt before bugs. Our food is what looks, smells, and tastes good. Eating bugs as a primary source is a sign of failure as a provider of food.

This, if I'm presented with a meal made from insects which is tasty enough, there is no reason for me not to eat it.
In fact, imagine how convenient it would be if we could just eat any insect as is, disguisting things woild turn into quick snacks.
Of course, closest thing to a real meal from insects that I know of and would eat, or at leas try, are fried tarantulas, they look crispy.

It's a dehumanizing humiliation ritual that the elite stroke their tiny wieners to while thinking about how powerful they are. It's a fricking lie that they tell us that we need to do this. They will tell us that there won't be enough meat to go around when there are more hogs in Texas than there are people by a gigantic amount. There are places where deer outnumber people 10 to 1 and they spit in our faces and tell us we need to eat bugs? Fuuuuuck them. When it gets to the point that meat becomes illegal and people are forced to eat the bugs or starve, motherfrickers are gonna start getting shot. That's one of those lines in the sand.
