    I go for 5g sometimes. Used to drink 4-5 cans of monster per day and finish the day with some brewed coffee.
    No issues at all but I dropped energy drinks because they're fricking expensive. Caffeine just doesn't do anything to my body. But I really like the taste of a nicely brewed coffee.

    I was taking 800-1000mg a day for almost 15 years.
    I recently cut back to about 300mg (one cup in the morning and another around 6pm) and I can say I feel much better overall, sleeping better, RHR is down, and I have much more stable energy levels throughout the day.
    I dont even need it pre-workout any more

    The lethal dosage is much, much higher than the recommended dosage. The recommended dosage is based more on minimizing the effects of chronic exposure, like insomnia, arrhythmia, and digestive issues.
    So no you wont die after consuming a gram of caffeine, but you'll be up shit creek if you consume like 50g.
