I seriously don't get why people Larping as trad euros would stop eating trad European foods like bread and pasta, with the argument that those foods aren't trad Euro foods. I mean, even if you go bakc several millenia to before people baked bread, you'd still have porridge and cooked grains. Must be a low IQ thing, I dunno.

Typical carnitard fails to recognize context and nuance. Anon isn't saying they ONLY are porridge. Anon is saying that these foods were part of a traditional Anglo diet.

vegtard doesn't understand that prior to agriculture, humans were almost exclusively carnivore. Does vegtard not know how little time has past since then on evolutionary timescales, especially if you are northern European?

Furthermore for many populations that either have a smaller amount or none at all of farming ancestry, grainslop only dominated their diet even more recently than others. It is only grain that has the properties of sustaining large populations. Even at this very moment it isn't a choice that the billions of masses must eat their grainslop, but rather they can't afford anything better. There is no way to make them afford anything better since it is only grain that can sustain the world's population. It is basic, constant limitation.

No way would minimally selectively bred roots and fruits be good enough to make up a big part of someone's diet back then, when industrially produced genetically modified roots and fruits still can't do that today for the world masses.

The point is, you have a choice, so make the most of it.

Oats were not part of their diet. Historically, oats were animal feed. Humans ate primarily rye. But this is nothing in evolutionary terms, we know grain-based diets were awfully malnourishing and the root of widespread disease. Our relatively healthful lives can be attributed more so to animal products, and to the medical industry in the case of people who have special health problems that would otherwise kill them. Since the average person's life was brutal labour on a mostly grain diet, they would look and feel awful. That's why there was a tangible physical difference between classes/castes back then that made it clear who's who. They would be haggard and small.

People back then got a lot of Zone 1 / Zone 2 exercise in the form of physical labour, so they required the carbs. These days anyone except endurance athletes consumes more carbs than they should.

Ketoschizos don't realize that cancer cells require glutamine in addition to glucose for survival AND low carb blunts immune response so it can be even worse for cancer. This news is nothing to generalize from but it shows that no easy answers exist.

Animal protein has sulfur. Venus fly traps eat flies because they're in low sulfur soil.
Sulfur turns to sulferic acid and gives you colon cancer.
Protein depletes calcium (an alkaline element) as your body tries to balance Ph

I am an orthopaedic surgeon subspecialized in large segmental reconstruction and prosthesis revision surgery working at a tertiary center that serves multiple countries as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team. Our team treats around 2000 patients a year that need reconstruction after large tumor resection. From my pool of anecdotal observation over 10 years of practice I can honestly say that nobody is safe, I’ve seen everyone, versions of all of you have been cancer patients. There is no diet or lifestyle that is cancer free. My personal opinion about this phenomena and it’s explanation is that our fundamental error is in viewing cancer as a disease that affects an individual due to processes that occur within it and at it’s level. To me it seems that the different genetic mutations and their outcomes we classify as malignant or “cancer” are a built in feature of genetic material to aid in trait selection and propagation. Since our species has neutralized most of the macroscopic hardships of the natural world that would usually provide a large percentage of the culling needed for strengthening a gene pool the other mechanisms go into overdrive to compensate, whether homeostasis with the surrounding ecosystem is reached or not is inconsequential, the laws of nature dictate that it must be pursued regardless, and since malignancy still has not managed to put a dent into our rampant multiplication, logically one can deduce that it can only get worse before it gets better. To me it is just makes it obvious that one must treat everyday as a temple, and build it to perfection, that is the only way to appease the gods so to speak. Find something to do and do it with passion accepting that you might die any day, how, when and why are not important.

I'm unemployed lul, but back in school.
you can't even see the total fat in that screenshot though, wizard man.
skim milk gives me upset stomach, whole milk tastes best, whole milk is also the least adultered. 1% and 2% gave me minor digestive distress, but skim is major distress. drinking ~1.5 quarts a day of whole milk is a lot of fat calories, but 60% of whole milk is saturated, 25% is mufa, 6% is pufa [all according to cronometer at least].
I usually end up somewhere around 300g carbs, 100g protein, 75g fat. but the only thing I actually measure is the ground beef when I package it into baggies for the freezer, and maybe the white rice since that requires somewhat accurate rice:water ratios. that's an old screenshot I stopped eating potatoes.

Deleted my previous post because I misunderstood the first post and made invalid criticism.
      >wizard man
I entered the foods you had in the picture until I got the right amount of PUFA
Indeed you should go by the taste of the milk. I started with full fat greek yogurt, progressed into whole milk and I've been drinking 1.5% the last 3 years.
If you are counting correctly then it's less than 2300 calories, which sounds way too little for a man, even if sedentary.
Two things that helped me a lot with milk digestion when it was bad in the beginning are coffee and sugar.I used to sip on sweet milk coffee all day long, but now I drink sweet milk and coffee milk separately.
I find that the higher the carbs are and the more refined my diet is, the easier it is to digest, so I get about 500-600g carbs a day (100 from milk, 50~ from fresh OJ, 80~ from white rice and the rest is sugar to appetite)

I basically don't have time to workout much. gf is a gains goblin, no gym access, full time student, live 2.5 hours away from the school off-grid in the woods, and math is actually hard for me after calculus, especially since I'm a boomer now.
just do some body weight squats and push-ups when I remember. so 2300 maintains for me. 6'2" ~165lbs. work around the property is physical too.
I probably get more calories than that though because I usually drink some coke when I start to feel hungry but don't want milk or to prepare a meal yet.

and when I'm on my 2.5 hour drive lol.
so yeah I'm not tracking coke in my cronometer so it's probably closer to 2500+.

Interesting predicament, you live with your gf off grid, study in a school 2.5 hours away and study math as a boomer?
          >21 BMI
No offence but that sounds a bit frail, especially if you want to frick, train, do manual work AND study.
You might start gaining weight involuntarily if you are new to peating and that's probably going to be a good thing

I am very lean. I bounce between 160-170 but trend closest to 165. I have more strength than people 100+ lbs heavier than me so whatever.
