It's all the same, buy the one with a nice flavor like grape or citrus.

just don't fall for the nopoo meme. only works if you're bald.
    typically scents are hormone disruptors.
I haven't done any research but I fricked myself up on nopoo, used nizoral to nuke my scalp, going back to head & shoulders. you also don't need to wash it daily.

This is exact opposite of what you should be doing, head and shoulders sucks

If you have a month to train your hair, apple cider and baking soda. If you want a good shampoo by a good chans lad try mighty white soap. https://mwsoap.com/

Try using nothing, best thing there is out there. Just water, you can’t true any of that shit no matter how non chemical or natural it claims to be.

I usually just hot shower and bath, then scent myself with sandalwood incense.

Shampoo is largely a scam because it cleans by removing the oils that helps keep your hair healthy and forces you to replace those oils with shit found in conditioners. As a result, this creates a dependency on both products because your body compensates for the oil removal by producing more oil, and if you go for extended periods without removing it with shampoo, you wind up with a greasy mess.
That said, some people can't do "no poo" because they have scalp issues. These can go away on their own, but in the interim, any shampoo usage should be products that don't have parabens and sulfates (brands such as Cantu or Shea Moisture). No more frequently than semi-weekly washes with the shampoo and conditioner then gradually taper down to weekly, then bi-weekly, then monthly until the scalp is fine. Then you can either use the shampoo and conditioner combo infrequently or switch to co-washing (e.g., conditioner only washing, which there are specific products for such a thing).
The shower temperature should ideally be cold, but not much warmer than kinda tepid - hot, steamy water tends to cause problems. If you have a water filter attachment to your shower, that would also help if you have shitty water where you live.
I stopped using shampoo last year and only co-wash. I just have all the flyaways because I've been lazy and haven't been to a cutter to shape things up.

    >tried nopoo for years (water only), tried sulfate free and silicone free and natural blah blah shampoos and conditioners, tried only conditioners
    >go back to using some tresemme shampoo and conditioner from walmart. it has sulfates and silicones. wash x1 a week
    >hair is silky, smooth, clean, soft, and no frizz

Frick all that men's goyslop shampoo shit.
Go to a professional hair dresser supply site and buy ACTUAL good shampoo and conditioner used by professionals.
It will be pricier than slop, but well worth it. I recently tried some Matrix volume shampoo and conditioner (not the top brand or the most expensive one) and my hair is so much more easier to style and after the conditioner feels very "light" and super soft. Plus the shampoo itself doesn't stink, it has no scent.
