you can get a great pump with this machine if you keep your arms straight when you meet your hands in the middle then hold and squeeze for a second.
cable crossover are a staple in my chest routine but now my chest is getting bigger mostly on the outside and not the inside. i thought his activates the inside best because it goes across the entire chest area

My chest routine is 4x12 dips, flat bench, incline bench, this machine, 3x10 db pullover to kill the chest
I did 80 wide dips (not all at once ofc) as my first thing today then tried to DB bench... failed my warmup weight for 8 reps

The plate loaded one that's attached to benches does for sure but pec deck doesn't.
