Don't do decline cause they're annoying to set up. Do dips cause they focus on lower pecs and give you more of that cut look rather than the manboob look. Really though if you want a well developed chest, Incline bench, Dips, and a fly type movement where you can get the squeeze at the top are all you need.
Except it's not. It's all triceps once you go heavy. >b-but BGC MRI DILDO studies show 30% more upper pec activation
If you do it wrong, like a front raise, doable only with light weight. Once the bar gets heavy, you press in a straight line above the sternum, or you crash your skull.
>MOGs every single other pec lift by an embarrassing margin
all of it is front delt, want chest? push ur palms together in front of u, just do it, u will see progress in mid and upper chest immediately, like within 2 weeks there will be visible difference, no pushing motion engages middle of the chest where pecs thatch to sternum
just pray to chesticles god real hard > but that's like an static hold, i must be lifting big weight in full range of motion
yes u must, u're an moron after all

yes u must, u're an moron after all (You) >I hate isometric exercises, frick you
u hate everything that works bot, pushups don't work on chest, not on the sternum part
but if anyone is reading - elbows low, protract shoulders and literally watch how ur chesticles grow, it's that fricken simple, and stretch em, they love stretching, almost every muscle does
I do 800-1000 weighted pushups with extra 50 lbs on my back 2 times a week. Shit fixes your entire body composition and improves your punching power by a ton. Definitely one of the best exercises.
It's not the same thing at all you dumbass Black person. High volume pushups builds a lot more endurance. Which is what I need. Not trying to be a stiff monkey bodybuilder.
I fricking love push ups man. Got heart failure so im starting from 0 after recovering and I still love these frickers although I get light headed and dizzy every time I get back up
hex dumbells work better imo cause the weight will keep them from moving around easily unlike these. but anything is better than flat hands on the ground pinching your wrists.
why do you find it harder. i find the lift feels much more natural cause this way i can keep my wrists in a straight healthy supported position. you wouldnt bench press with your wrists angled back why would you do pushups that way?
I think it's because the surface area that bears the weight is larger and more stable (whole palm & fingers vs the bottom of your palm with handles-bar)
Is my cardio fricked if I can't do more than 11ish pushups despite the added weight? I can do 11ish with 10kg, 11ish with 5kg, 11ish bw
I don't get it, I always go to failure and my form looks the same every time
If you are stopping because you are out of breath then yes, 11 push ups mean you can’t get your breath means you are totally fricked. How many pull-ups/sit ups/burpees can you do? Do you do any cardio? Running/jogging/skipping?
Push ups are unrelated to cardio, they are more heart strength related than lung capacity dependant, a stronger heart will be beneficial to cardio but its more about maximum output with push ups.
looking good bro
lifting a bit more than half your body weight, nice bro
lifting your own weight? that's cool
brb I'll just go and bench twice my own weight and consider myself only intermediate
Look at this dyel who hasn’t turned his shoulders into dust yet!
>benches 350 once
>pushes 200 20 times
>350 vs 4000
Checkm8 atheists
>350 vs 4000
this is actually how you know volume > 1rm
Only one of those methods means you're capable of doing both
>he doesn't know about weighted pushups and variations
>he thinks I care about weighted pushups and variations
>DONT DO DECLINE BENCH PRESS. YOUR LOWER PECS ARE ALREADY OVERDEVELOPED AND YOU GET WEIRD MILKERS
also IST
>do dips they are best for chest
you guys are funny I swear to allah.

/LULZ/ is unironically more chill than this board

Why do I feel dips and ring dips only in my chest? When I do dips my delts and triceps feel like they aren't being taxed at all.
Reverse grip bench is better
Rto pushups and dips mog reverse grip bench
frick off geoff isn't IST forbidden in china?
Except it's not. It's all triceps once you go heavy.

This, but unironically.
Might try these tomorrow. If it feels too easy, might try one handed.
Place your feet on some elevated surface instead.
At some point it will be like assisted handstand pushups.
Cute feet bro, no homo
Snap?
Thanks. I don't have snap, but you can order my online coaching at antranik.org 🙂

This just hits my shoulders
It also works your upper chest.
>been lifting for almost 2 years
>still can't do 10 pushups
Stop bloatmaxxing.
i do 3 sets of 35 3 days a week. how many should i be doing? 100 every day?
I do 800-1000 weighted pushups with extra 50 lbs on my back 2 times a week. Shit fixes your entire body composition and improves your punching power by a ton. Definitely one of the best exercises.
At a certain point why did you waste the time? Heavy bench would've done the same work in half the time.
It's not the same thing at all you dumbass Black person. High volume pushups builds a lot more endurance. Which is what I need. Not trying to be a stiff monkey bodybuilder.
It doesn't matter. Even if you do a thousand every day you won't get any bigger or stronger.
consoomer underwater israelite Black person
Add weight or do a tougher variation so you can do less than 20 per set for muscle growth.
I fricking love push ups man. Got heart failure so im starting from 0 after recovering and I still love these frickers although I get light headed and dizzy every time I get back up
Lol fricking moron had heart failure.
you frickin know it bby girl
What happened?
Pushups are an ab exercise
They are also a glute and posterior chain exercise.
There's just no other like the pushup.
simply true.
These are essential if you wanna do pushups
hex dumbells work better imo cause the weight will keep them from moving around easily unlike these. but anything is better than flat hands on the ground pinching your wrists.
I tried with some 12kg hex dumbbells and indeed they don't move but it's much harder compared to hands on the ground
why do you find it harder. i find the lift feels much more natural cause this way i can keep my wrists in a straight healthy supported position. you wouldnt bench press with your wrists angled back why would you do pushups that way?
Just use your fists
I think it's because the surface area that bears the weight is larger and more stable (whole palm & fingers vs the bottom of your palm with handles-bar)
These aren't meant to be more comfy. They're meant to let you get more stretch as your chest grazes the floor.
Is my cardio fricked if I can't do more than 11ish pushups despite the added weight? I can do 11ish with 10kg, 11ish with 5kg, 11ish bw

Idk I'm not a
>Pullups
Bw I can probably go above 15
5kilo 12
10kilo 8-10 depends on the day
Do you do any cardio?
Bicycle
Have you tried breathing?
Push ups are unrelated to cardio, they are more heart strength related than lung capacity dependant, a stronger heart will be beneficial to cardio but its more about maximum output with push ups.
>mogs pushups
I only do lifts that /ourguy/ does. If it doesn't have a pic/animation of him doing it, I ain't doing it either
Enjoy losing your gains then.
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but I feel a lot of stress on my shoulders when I do push ups.
