IST is the only social media i browse, and only rarely. i'd give a generous estimate of about 30 minutes a week and thats even in between other work i do
I liked Warlock of the Magus World, I Shall Seal the Heavens and Han Bryan the moronic rapist got a bit dull over time, any recs?
Always found Baki too odd. The training stuff that you see in other battle/martial arts anime/manga as far back as dragon ball is just no t present in Baki.
Baki is always doing some crazy stunts, never on point training.
This is the main reason I like it.
It’s the only thing that’s “subverted my expectations” in a good way.
I started this show with the death row inmate arc and they’re all there in the first episode and say out loud: we’re gonna 5v5 with these characters right here and then that just never happens it’s a bunch of other guys fighting that I’ve never seen before.
It autistically violates all the rules of story telling.
That's because the deathrow arc is the third season. You need to watch the 2001 series when he was 13 and then 15 if you want to know who are the other characters.
damn i was watching the deathrow arc first. i did think it was odd hearing about this 'tournament' that he supposedly won but never elaborated on. did i just ruin the whole show for me?
Gonna chime in here and say the author also has every single fricking American job for Japanese and Chinese people.
In his whack ass alt history, the buff dad single-handedly repelled the US invasion of Okinawa.
It’s Neojapanese fanfiction, it’s like neo Nazis wrote a manga where akshully gobbles or whoever the frick ran nazism punched Sherman or some shit in the face and stopped the allied invasion.
It’s also completely fricking irrelevant to the plot except to make US leaders cower and be afraid of Japan.

did he finally beat his father
the concept of yuujiro being so fricking omnipotent that he can even control his own cancer cells kinda messes with my suspension of disbelief

There is only so much you can subvert before it becomes dull.

It’s kinda funny examining it from that lens
This is why I can only view Baki as a comedy.
Okay OP, have a (you).
baki >>>>>> one piece, death note, jojo,…

Why are they hunched?
also the author is a gay
Baki is so far removed from reality it's like a JoJo's lite. It's fun to watch because it's so moronic.
i watched Bastard season 2 instead.
hajime no ippo tho
you must be pretty pathetic to be motivated by netflix anime
Baki is pretty good.
It's a great motivation anime I'm surprised you all have bad taste
