      >now get to work b***h
i would probably cry laughing if I saw a jacked older dude in the gym struggling to understand why this is playing, and them trying to ignore it and concentrate on their lifts.

Let it happen has been my pump song for like 2 years so this shorter edit where they’re also pretty much hyping a guy up just makes it even better. It’s like I have a bunch of bros cheering my lift

Folk music with strong emphasis on drums, no matter the culture, since the song have a darker and martial atmosphere, I am in.

I also found out a very tribal music style that is traditional to feudal Japan purely played with drums... Sounds kringe but it is pure berserker test rage inducing.. I think it's called kumi daiko, but I am not sure

And I also like to reserve days to lift listening to Gregorian chants. They're more soft and high pitch, but the Arabic orthodox subset have a deeper tone, more martial stile and is very beautiful.

I am a very quiet guy and I know I look a complete weirdo on my corner with my headset on. But it is a cathartic moment to me and I am not there to find romance or sex

      >drums.
i like some music like this which is mainly drums even though it isnt what youre talking about just thought you might find some of it cool

might be fitting for something like a longer run at moderate intensity.

The album Spirituality & Distortion, specifically during the track known as Musette Maximum.

I've tried other pieces, but nothing really seems to fit me screaming as loud as I can as a warm up. It gets easy once you learn to start with a low growl and work your way up from there.
Then I go for deadlift, shrugs, neck, overhead press, squat, lateral raise, bench press, and finish it with a little heavy tobacco. The whole routine lasts just about 35 min. with a 5 min. margin of error, in case I had eaten poorly the hours prior & end up puking all over my gym floor again.

Heidevolk is a band I really love listening to while working out, but I've sort of raped them through listening to all their albums a million times.

Uit Oude Grond is perhaps my favourite album of theirs

Ugly Duckling - "Momentum" from the album "Movin' at Breakneck Speed. The whole album is great (aside from the "radio theater" stuff inbetween the songs). If you like stuff like A Tribe Called Quest then they might be up your alley.

I usually just spend about 20-30min on an exercise bike while composing my "own" music on the phone (android)
    >Loopz
it's got different drumloops with tempo change)
    >Atmosphere
basically a soundboard with various looping soundeffects which can be used to create quite interesting soundscapes) or Custom Soundboard, which lets you add your own sounds (Atmosphere can do that too, but can only play a single file at a time)
    >Frequency Generator + Brain Waves (for the binaural beats gainz, but mostly because it's fun to play around with different tones and finding something that I resonate with)
    >Poweramp + VLC + Pi Music player
Its fun trying to combine different songs, mainly just single instrument instrumental songs, buddhist/gregorian/folk chanting and audiobooks to fit togheter (a lot of audiobooks actually sound like rap songs when you put on a backing beat)
    >Uptempo
Same as the audioplayers mentioned above, but it allows for more tweaking (especially love playing around with the delay effect and changing tempo/pitch)
    >Easy Voice Recorder
If I want to add some self motivational stuff I'll just record myself saying stuff like "Breathe.... Keep Going..." and loop it with any of the above players

So, while pedalling on the the bike I'll just play around and try to create something cool/fun to listen to and then listen to that for the remainder of my session.
