He was depressed, I told him to go to the gym and start a family. He listened and agreed until he went to a psychologist and got perscribed beta blockers. Used to take shrooms and have hours long concorsations, go to shoes every weekend, isnide jokes everywere.. Now he doesn't have anything to say about any topic. Also has a compeltly shit offputting personality. I feel stupid for wasting so much time and energy on him. U shouldn't breed if ur dumb enough to every take this poison

Beta-blocker killed my anxiety completely. I was diagnosed with mild Hypertension at the age of 23. It was probably more to stresful life and alcohol mixed with caffeine, rather than actual heart problem.
But from what I can tell, my life changed drastically. It killed my anxiety, no more racing heart in stresful situations, no more fear before any confrontations. It psychomaxxed me. I haven't noticed any serious side effects, I sometimes get dizzy for a while if I stand up too quickly, but other than that, there are no issues.

My guess is he got prescribed propranolol, which is a beta blocker, and is not uncommonly prescribed to treat the symptoms associated with depression/anxiety like tremors, panic attacks, tachycardia etc.
