You need to learn how to fail safely. I can respect a guy who attempts a max and fails it with grace. I only recommend it up to around 2pl8 though. Higher than that and your crushing yourself.
Just don't clip your weights and watch videos of people rolling the bar out. You're not lifting heavy enough to where you need a spotter. All else fails in rolling out you can dump the weights to one side.

If the 'squat rack' has adjustable safeties that you could feasibly adjust with a bench underneath then it's most likely multi-purpose anyway and you are entitled to bench in it. Also do you not have smith machines?

Practice rolling it off, put on weight and just lower it gently.
You can roll shit pretty nicely ever around 2 plate. I've rolled ~120kg and it's not bad at all.
