my shoulders are fricked. i can’t tell at this point if it’s an impingement or cuff tear. raises and bench have been out and my shoulders and chest are suffering/going to continue to suffer. i’ve been doing all types of stretches/strengthening but nothing is helping. what the frick? straight up wtf do i do at this point?
>These are the people giving fitness advice
he doesnt look half bad, just a lil chubby
switch to dumbbell work, ALL your lifts should be unilateral from this point forward, do cables too and really and i mean really warm up, if that doesnt help lower the weight by 30% and go to a physiotherapist
He’s just a cut away from being sikk
Bro wash your forearms they are dirty as frick
topkek
LMAO
Should of stuck with calisthenics my man
are you the powerlifting guy from nate Cerwinske videos?
nah i don’t know who that is
i like your soijak forearm tattoo
Rings of Saturn goes hard bro. There should be some resources online about how to self diagnose impingement or rotator cuff tears, etc based on whether specific movements give you any pain, search "shoulder impingement test" or something like that. If its neither its entirely possibly you just have tight upper back/chest and need to massage it out
I met the vocalist from rings of saturn on warzone. We played together for a bit and he was a beast. I hadnt even heard of them before but they got some bangers and it was neat hearing all about the dudes from other bands I listen to.
>be you
>get influenced by roidtrannies and become one
>never actually read or watch any detailed guides on how to safely lift weights
>get gains anyway so frick it
>come to IST to b***h about joint pain
Good news for u in the long run that would be the least of ur health problems, bad news is u need to rest for a weeks maybe months to allow ur body to heal
post body i'm not even op but you are dyel and i know it
ive got the same issue
i know my bench/OHP form is fricked.
after bench/ohp i can barely even move my right arm at all and its so painful i get dizzy and feel like im gonna puke
im pretty sure im moving my right shoulder up towards my head on bench but it just happens naturally at this point idk how to stop it
gonna try and get an ultrasound on the area see if somethings fricked up in there on monday
>I know im majorly fricking up but have so little control I cant even change it
this is what happens when every single one of your lifts is an egolift. post bench and squat so we can watch you injure yourself for 245
why would you wear a tank top when you are all fat and no muscle
post body
kek ok now i knwo you're some dyel who looks like garbo
You're obviously extremely internally rotated. You have the same muscle imbalances as everyone has. Do facepulls and external rotations untill your shoulders fix themselves.
>confidently misdiagnosing the problem
Never change IST
You are visually internally rotated, OP. Of course you're getting impinged. Its going to take the same amount of time to correct the imbalance as it took to build it. You probably press badly too
that wasn’t me
>shoulder impingement
passive deadhangs
You're just overweight
Prehab/rehab. Youtube Diesel crew shoulder rehab.
Mine took a year to get better and disappear. Used to cause sharp pain if I move it forward. Now it's better and my presses are far better but be patient.
Best to consult a medical professional. An actual sports related one. You're primary doctor probably doesn't lift.
did you not train delts/chest or do overheads for that full year? and what was your routine for recovery?
if it hurts, dont do it, youll literally just make it worse
See an actual physical therapist bro. Seriously if you have insurance. Get it checked by a othro doc and a pt. Youll be good. I had a labrum tear in my shoulder. Took like 10 frickin weeks to heal. I did all sorts of moronic shit i heard on the internet. Absolutely none of it fricking worked. Dead hangs face pulls. All of it was fricking garbage. See an actual doctor who can actually help you.
All ehat you have listed doesn't help with labrum tear...
Despite being moronic, you still managed to give him a good advice to see a doctor and find the reason.
But he needs to fix his posture in any case. So face pulls won't do any harm
>labrum tear
How did you get that, and how to avoid it?
Being a try hard doing one armed push ups
thanks for the reply
Only do exercises that cause you zero pain and it'll heal itself.
looking good OP. Are you roiding? anavar and shit like that helps you heal you should go get it checked out
Try pic rel
Start with towel in front, bring overhead and behind back, keeping the towel taut
This can be done with broomstick, or something similar, if you can
never skip face pulls day
I had a bothersome shoulder injury a while back.
I did dead hangs everyday for 6 sets of 1 minute and then like a minute or so break inbetween.
I really feel like the dead hangs fixed my shoulders plus I got great forearm / grip gains.
Try it fren.
I had the same issue, watched this video and a few others and went to a physical therapist at the VA. Still can't do chest push but I can do shoulder and chest pull that's not load bearing.
Have you tried isolating with front/side lateral raises along with bent over lateral raises
Use cables for chest hypertrophy
Use the smith machine and do some seated overhead press using the bench flat.
Don't do lateral raises
Don't do bench press
i was advised to stop overheads even though it doesn’t hurt (as much), is that incorrect?
thanks brahs wagmi
I've had a minor TFCC tear for 2 months now with no signs of healing.
Why does this dude have such feminine fingers? like if I just saw his hands I would assume it was a women, just look at his nails lmao.
Salaam friend,
I had a similar issue; I've started using a slingshot to work out and minimize any pain in my shoulders. It's definitely helped to keep my form in check and to help at the more extreme angles (long arms here)
Natural Hypertrophy and Alphadestiny both have videos about the slingshot; they are worth watching.
I'm trying the McGill Big Three exercises to strengthen the shoulders but I probably will see a physio. Still, Squat University has a lot of shoulder videos worth a watch.
Praying for your physical and spiritual health.
Do some dead hangs they are good for resting my shoulders
>rings of saturn
based, good luck with your injury vro
Do you have a Basedjak tattoo in your forearm? Badass ngl
