Good glute/ass builders are any hip hinge movements like RDLs, 45 degree back extensions, hip thrusts, lunges and split squats.

        Ehhh, I think you have a weird idea of what the thighs turn into. And no, you don't really gain muscle quickly. Your calves are just a part that's genetically predetermined to hold a bit more mass, happens with some people. As an example, the chick in picrel roids+has big thighs and still looks pretty great since her glutes grew hand in hand with her quads. And since women using performance enhancing drugs don't have the issue of looking too manly, what makes you think you will have this issue?

            In retrospect, yes, you have a point. I should've used something more like "Wow, that Crossfit athlete is jacked! I guess I should do that to become equally jacked instead of going for regular hypertrophy training". Same with swimmers or athletes of any kind that tend to look good really.

            Point is, it's not due to their sport that they're jacked, it is because they're jacked that they perform well at their sports. Swimming every now and then or biking a bit won't make your muscles grow noticably.
