>CRISPR kit costs 80$

I am thinking of doing some homemade CRISPR gene editing on myself to gain the ultimate muscle mass.

What do you guys think?

You'd need to be an embryo for it to have any effect. CRISPR kit won't edit genes in all cells of your body.
You would have a better shot at this using a miostatin inhibitor. However, it would probably have bad consequences.

Okay, I did a quick research on this miostatin inhibition and there might not be any detrimental side effects. People naturally deficient in miostatin are perfectly fine but have less fat and more muscle mass. Even artificially inhibiting miostatin seems to have positive effect on muscle size. However the research is very limited and the potential side effects of this are unknown now.

Hint: You heart is a muscle.

Miostatin is not the main regulator inhibiting heart muscle growth.

          >they made a virus that does the same function as CRISPR kit
damn so hard to buy RNA off the web and put it in a bacteriophage
shut up, go to IST you numnuts

IST sucks and they don't hate fat people.

you're literally wrong, gene editing on adults is possible

I never said it wasn't possible. I said it wasn't possible with a CRISPR kit. Even in the article you linked, they made a virus that does the same function as CRISPR kit. That is not the same thing. You should first work on your reading comprehension before trying to edit genes.
        And as I said in

, you can possibly do it easier with miostatin inhibitors.

What's a good myostatin inhibitor besides creatine?

    Bro...
do you understand the rampart cancer that would overtake your body if you edit even one gene in an adult human all at once?
You quite literally change the entire human, everything will be different as the chain reaction morphs your body into a blob of diseased flesh.
There are reasons why fetuses sometimes just abort themselves, the body quite literally unstable in the womb.

just take myostatin inhibitors until better genome editing tools are available.

Just eat a lot of eggs. They have Follistatin in them which are myostatin inhibitors. 12 eggs in the morning, no more myostatin stealing gainz

      Is this true?

It is true that follistatin inhibits miostatin. However it is only found in fertilised eggs. Eggs you buy commercially are unfertilised.

Can we buy commercial eggs then cum in them to fertilize them, then eat it? I remember this one dude on youtube way back who used to inject his own cum into eggs to fertilize them and it worked. Would that provide follistatin?

There was a guy who self-learned genetic modification in order to breed healthy guard dogs
He claims to have injected himself with myostatin blocker gene and grew muscle without even lifting
He now works for a biotech firm
Used to have tabs open about him but I cannot remember his name, some ankn mentioned him here

You may develop an enlarged heart but go ahead bro, we’ve already had a guy that stuck radioactive material to his nuts in order to testmaxx. This is comparatively tame. Sky is the limit.

there was a kid with natural born myostatin gene defect. Looked like gokus 6year old son.

That was however already pre cov and i believe there is zero new press on his current state. My guess is it didnt hard carry him to adulthood or there would be more news.
