Bros, one of my work buddies told me yesterday that he wants my help to get fit and he wants to be my workout buddy.
Some years ago i was offering him to come work out with me but he kept coping out, saying he has bad knees or saying his priority of to lose weight. And i low-key gave up on him. Well finally he's accepted my offer!!
    I'm so happy!!

Be prepared to become instantly frustrated as you learn that your friend is a person of weak character who can't put down a fork and is too big of a pussy to push himself through the soreness of the first few weeks or the difficulty with getting started weight lifting.

Not him but everyone I’ve brought to the gym has kept at it for several months at least. Most recent gym buddy has been at it for a year, he doesn’t push himself enough on kegs but he absolutely unfatted himself and is only making progress

I have never seen any increase in gym goers at my gym during new years.

Also, i do OHP at the squat rack, am i a sinner?

Depends, do you use pins to pin press off to really total your shoulders or do you do standard ohp? If it’s standard you could just clean it into the ohp starting spot which also activates glutes and core to press off

        I don't know that skill

      Yes frick you
Well I don’t know your gym but I go to a small one that has one (1) squat rack so I’m chasing homosexuals out of it all the time for doing other shit.

I was in the gym the other night and 2 dyel pakis dragged an adjustable bench all the way across the gym into a squat rack then started doing dumbell press in it followed by barbell curls. I literally don't understand how anyone can be that moronic. Like why don't they just leave the bench where it was and do their workout there?? Why take up a squat rack to do exercises you don't need a squat rack for?? Why do I have to share the world with worthless meatsacks like these??

I hate doing this shit, if the bench is taken and bench is up next though, what am I to do?

I've got a boomer doing yoga and abwheels in the squat rack, and curls on the bench press bench

and that's bad? Bench press is literally that one excercise that will kill you if you drop the bar. 90% of "bench press" setups don't have the adequate safety mechanisms. I'm not a "resolutionist" and I'll keep benching in the rack. Mald.

The gym I go to has benches in front of every squat rack (6 in total).
When I go, i pick one and do all my compound lifts there, if there are other racks free, i do chinups and pullups too.

      >walk in half naked
      >or fully naked; who cares?
      >everything is nearly put away where it belongs
      >squat rack not occupied
      >bench not covered in hepatitis sweat
      >turn on BluTooth speaker
      >Calendar Girl by Neil Sedaka because why not?
      >work out in whatever order you want, no need to compromise
      >take as much time as you want
      >no morons with no concept of other people
      >no distracting attention seeking gym prostitutes
      >no commute, no parking issues
      >”how many sets do you have left” no longer exists in your vocabulary
      >finish your workout with the most moronic, goofy exercise you can think of that you won’t even admit to online
This is the only option. Once you do this, you’ll never go back to a public gym.

my gym doesn't even have dedicated bench press setups, it's either smith machine or bench in the power rack if you want safeties, or use dumbbells
