Yeah I think I'm taking the glasspill this year and avoiding plastic containers as much as possible. Glass is humble, glass is clean, glass is good.

      it's usually rubber

Some have a rubberized silicone type deal, but at the very least, at least it's just on the cap, so it's still superior to all the water being encased in plastics 24/7 as it is when it's in a plastic water bottle. Most will just have a gasket, but there are ones that don't have it at all.

Based. Glass is amazing, and for those who are afraid theirs will shatter when out and about, there are companies (Kleen Kanteen) that make 100% stainless steel water bottles.

      >metal
Gonna be a yikes from me, better than plastics but still no cigar.

I wish they'd make them glass on the inside, but coat the outside with rubber.

i have been trying to do that, it's not as easy as it seams, a lot of things you get from the store don't have glass alternatives, but, as much as i can i try to get either metal or glass, and i try to find new uses for them afterwards

Yes, and heating it is double moronic. All plastic is bad, and BPA free is a gimmick. You need to look for phthalate free. They'll say BPA free, but will use a different phthalate that behaves the same but isn't BPA.

    BRO.

But you either have to have water from a tap full of pharma shit and birth control, or water from a bottle, full of micro plastics.

Unless you have a well, or water spring, you're shit out of luck.

I have accepted this, and if it gets me, I get anal cancer from plastic I will.. Unleash hell. In a video game brehs.

Microplastics are already everywhere so best case scenario you're just having less. Doesn't mean that it's a bad idea to try but realistically you can't really avoid it completely

    You clearly don't understand microplastics.

HDPEs are in no way water soluble, and unless you see a crack there's not a chance that your plastic water bottle will be leaching microplastics. Microplastics come from waste which enters the environment, and they are either ready made in the form of microbeaded beauty products, or the product of years of erosion. The plastic in a water bottle does the opposite, water leaches into it.
