Yeah I think I'm taking the glasspill this year and avoiding plastic containers as much as possible. Glass is humble, glass is clean, glass is good.

I have two of that same bottle
regular glass or is some plexiglass shit ok too?
regular glass man
ty i am fricking moronic
You are definitely not fricking
Plexiglass is plastic bro
Impressive. Very nice. Now let's see the inside of that cap.
it's usually rubber
Some have a rubberized silicone type deal, but at the very least, at least it's just on the cap, so it's still superior to all the water being encased in plastics 24/7 as it is when it's in a plastic water bottle. Most will just have a gasket, but there are ones that don't have it at all.
>Drops
>Shatters into a million pieces
Yeah, no thanks
That's what the professionals call an operator error
Mine is made out of aluminum so it doesn't shatter in a million pieces if it falls.
take this L and go back to the ocean from whence you came, glasscuck.
>metal
Gonna be a yikes from me, better than plastics but still no cigar.
Glass is completely fricking clean.
> aluminum
dementia
Based. Glass is amazing, and for those who are afraid theirs will shatter when out and about, there are companies (Kleen Kanteen) that make 100% stainless steel water bottles.
>and for those who are afraid theirs will shatter
I wish they'd make them glass on the inside, but coat the outside with rubber.
>Yeah I think I'm taking the glasspill this year and avoiding plastic containers as much as possible. Glass is humble, glass is clean, glass is good.
i have been trying to do that, it's not as easy as it seams, a lot of things you get from the store don't have glass alternatives, but, as much as i can i try to get either metal or glass, and i try to find new uses for them afterwards
I got the plastic one of that model
I switched to this bottle last year and my testosterone went up from 500 to 740 at labcorp
I can hear the roaches
Sounds like a cleanliness issue in your house, you might want to call an exterminator
Yeah I'm sure switching the bottle is gonna help years of ingesting and inhaling microplastics
>buy water that’s transported in plastic
>pours it in a glass bottle
>”no microplastic for me ;)”
The glass particles dissolve the plastic particles dummy
>The glass particles dissolve the plastic particles dummy
Actually lol'd.
Science. 4 d chess.
masterfully deboonked
Do you think nalgene bottles are bad? It said no bpa. I don't want to drink out of plastic bottles that have been sitting in the sun at the job sites all day so I got that.
Bump. Wondering the same thing. I take that thing into the sauna too and I’ve been using it for 15 years.
Yes, and heating it is double moronic. All plastic is bad, and BPA free is a gimmick. You need to look for phthalate free. They'll say BPA free, but will use a different phthalate that behaves the same but isn't BPA.
ive got a stainless steel yeti, has served me well
BRO.
But you either have to have water from a tap full of pharma shit and birth control, or water from a bottle, full of micro plastics.
Unless you have a well, or water spring, you're shit out of luck.
I have accepted this, and if it gets me, I get anal cancer from plastic I will.. Unleash hell. In a video game brehs.
just into RO home filters brah
Just leave it out overnight and you have a bottle of fresh rainwater in the morning
They're in rain water too
just buy a reverse osmosis filter or distiller or whatever
Microplastics are already everywhere so best case scenario you're just having less. Doesn't mean that it's a bad idea to try but realistically you can't really avoid it completely
Use metal you fricking moron.
>brings it into the sauna with ice water inside
>explodes in the sauna
>drops it in the parking lot
>shatters
glass is superior for health but ima stick with stainless steel for now. it safely keeps my drink cold in the sauna
Does picrel filter microplastics?
On the one hand, it should.
On the other hand, it's made from plastic.
take the glass water filter pill
>Implying your source of drinking water isn't riddled with microplastics anyways
It's literally over
>Endocrine disrupters
Nationalist dog whistle
My girlfriend got me one of those 2L stainless steel stanley cups and no cap I've been staying hydrated, moisturized, in my lane as of late.
gib brand
I don't think bringing a glass bottle to the gym is a good idea, Stainless steel is the Best option
You clearly don't understand microplastics.
HDPEs are in no way water soluble, and unless you see a crack there's not a chance that your plastic water bottle will be leaching microplastics. Microplastics come from waste which enters the environment, and they are either ready made in the form of microbeaded beauty products, or the product of years of erosion. The plastic in a water bottle does the opposite, water leaches into it.
Is a stainless steel water bottle a good alternative or does this leech some shit into the water that I'm not aware of
for me it's delicious crisp tap water
