I bet there is some function in the body where if you have high frequency and volume it increases muscle size and strength more than just counting reps and having rest days etc. Also, monkeys have some gut thing where they can create proteins from plants and be at a perfect protein synthesis and amino levels 24/7 provided they eat enough fruit.
Not sure how they stay lean tho, maybe they are smart enough to cut, but we just don't know about it yet.
