Nah that shit's impossible
Unless you're 300 fricking pounds what's so hard about it?
I'd need 180 grams of protein daily. It's just too much food it makes no sense
80 grams daily already seems like a lot (what I usually hit)
Still gaining muscle so this thing is a meme
>180 grams of protein daily is hard
found the DYEL
I only eat twice a day and don't drink protein shakes. There's no need as I said I'm still gaining, you guys are pissing your expensive protein away
>still gaining
but not as much as you could otherwise, especially if you’ve been lifting less than a year and are still on you’re beginner gains
So you say, if I stop making gains I'll buy some whey
It's too expensive
but you do understand you’ll make even faster gains with more protein yes? Especially if you’re a noob
I guess I could test it for a couple months, eating yogurt and drinking shakes daily is pretty hard on my budget though I need some cheapo protein
If you're so cheap and poor maybe get a job instead of flailing around in the gym for hours making sad little natty gains.
90% of the money goes on to pay rent, university and food already homosexual
And what is this idea that you need so much protein based on? Probably bunk studies crafted to sell you chumps a bunch of useless supplements
NTA but you are a total DYEL. Stop posting and keep lurking moron.
>It's too expensive
chicken is literally the cheapest meat around, greek yoghurt is pretty cheap too. if you can't afford those, how do you not starve at all?
I already eat a lot of chicken and high-protein yogurt is very expensive in my country
where do you live?
Brazil
Holy frick you're pathetic. 3 services of proteins a day and a shake can get you to 180g protein.
>fat free greek yogurt - 80gr and 500kcal
>8oz or so chicken breast - 50gr and 250 kcal
>proton shake - 50gr and 300kal
OMG THIS IS SO MUCH FOODS HOW DO IT EAT THIS IN ONLY ONE DAY!!!!
fricking homosexuals I swear.
A fricking anorexic high school girl could eat this
you gays over stimate your protein intake + digestion. You only digest 30 gr per hour. Thats why they tell you to eat 5 times a day.
Also 8oz of chicken has 21 grams at best. Frick your fake nutritional value tags
>you gays over stimate your protein intake + digestion
wtf does that even mean?
>Also 8oz of chicken has 21 grams at best.
you could try google. 1 oz has anywhere from 7-9 grams. That's over 50 grams in 8oz.
Not only are you poor, but you are moronic.
Are you, black?
Just aking
>just acking
>Believing in the israelitegle metrics on protein values that havent changed in years
Ive got a bridge to sell you
Literally the point of bulking
here is the study
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5828430/
Its actually about 25g per two hours
You can offset the time problem with protein that is harder to digest, but its not really possible to get more than about 10g an hour using whey.
Just eat meals composed of different protein types every two hours
you think the amount of protein in chicken has decreased over the years?
Do you think measuring protein content in food is some super complex process only carried out in the most sophisticated labs?
Black person, college students do that shit in chem lab classes.
>You think the amount of protein in chicken has decreased over the years?
Yes
>College students do that shit in a chem lab class
Post proof
you're right anon. You've uncovered the vast israeli conspiracy to trick the world into thinking chicken has more protein than it really does.
Look how they've manipulated every search result and fitness app fool you.
They are the ultimate gains goblins.
conspiracy? no anon just common sense.
Never admit the quality of your product is dropping.
Yes, using the algorithm AI to find exactly what im looking for in less than 20 seconds makes me a genius.
Illumination for ants
All protein but whey is "hard to digest". Meat especially takes time, after a few hours in your stomach chicken is still half undigested. That's the whole point, most protein releases slowly and you never hit that ceiling like with whey.
Yeah, im just arguing against 12 scoops morons.
>eating multiple eggs is whortless
Yes, i dont wanna lose my anabolic window
>anon thinks he's a genius for reading one line of the first result off google
>anabolic window
NTA but everything you’ve said ITT can basically be discarded because you believe this bs, disproven pseudoscience
these studies are all worthless. read the "Longitudinal findings" section.
also as
said " inb4 metaanalysis that concludes that more research is needed."
>Further research is nevertheless needed to quantify a specific upper threshold for per-meal protein intake.
is the very last line lol
this basically just spends a lot of time speculating to create a recommendation of what in theory might work best
also
>cooked egg protein has an absorption rate of ~3 g per hour [5], meaning complete absorption of an omelet containing the same 20 g of protein would take approximately 7 h
damn i guess eating multiple eggs in a sitting is useless since your body can only absorb everything at once
>You only digest 30 gr per hour. Thats why they tell you to eat 5 times a day.
source please. i'll wait. inb4 study done with whey. inb4 metaanalysis that concludes that more research is needed.
>No one eats like that. Just because you saw one guy do it in a video on youtube doesn't mean its real
are you moronic? and what DO people eat, mr expert? chips and mtn dew?
? and , if i eat 60g in the morning 60 at lunch and dinner, and there is 6 hours between them, thats plenty of time moron. 2 hours to digest a meal is totally fine.
He's also acting like your body's just not gonna do anything with the additional protein. Like as if it only absorbs 30g in one hour and gets rid of the other 30g. In reality, if you consume, say, 90g of protein in one meal, then your body would absorb 30g of it in the first hour, then another 30g in the second hour, and then the final 30g in the third hour. Not to mention that it can take 5-8 hours to fully digest food anyway, so even if you had 150-210g of protein in one sitting, you'll still end up absorbing all of it slowly over the course of the 5-8 hour period anyway. I wish people would stop being moronic about this.
>impossible
i never got you morons.
cooked chicken breast has 30g protein per 100g. eat 200g with lunch and 200g with dinner. bam, 120g protein.
shot of whey in the morning + greek yoghurt or curds. that, or egg whites. another 30-50 grams right there.
not even big portions, only 3 meals. not even counting extra protein from any other food you eat.
only 30 grams gets digested in each sitting. you piss the rest out in nitrogen
no
30gr is 120kcal. If you could only digest that much a few times a day, someone on a protein only diet would starve to death pretty quick.
Nane ONE person on a "protein only diet".
>you don’t constantly digest food throughout the day
Kys
Again, you are posting a theoretical diet. No one eats like that. Just because you saw one guy do it in a video on youtube doesn't mean its real
Black person I eat 5000kcal when I'm blasting. I've had as much 400gr protein a day, but that much is probably not needed.
You are a weak dyel skelly Black person.
Uh, how many calories do you need? 164 calories of chicken is 30grams of protein
Turkey breast: 104 calories for 30grams
Porkchop: 250 for 30grams
Just eat meat for a few meals, if you ate 1k calories of chicken, you'd get 180 grams of protein, obviously you're not only eating chicken, but switch up the meat, fish, eggs, dairy, etc. once you get your protein and cals, throw in some shit to meet vitamin requirements.
Just grab some shit from this chart and make a few meals with these ingredients, you'll reach your macros within your calorie limit:
https://www.myprotein.com/thezone/nutrition/how-much-protein-to-build-muscle-your-ultimate-guide/
No I do twice as much
no, its an impossible goal that is only good for fooling beginners into eating more calories. That's all body building is, if you want muscles, just eat more. No real body builder follows that shit unless they are doing a meme video
Protein is the biggest meme in the game, yet suckers on IST fall for it daily.
carbs are great for gaining weight in general and fueling muscle. If you grow fatter you also make more muscle.
Protein however must always be consumed in high quantities (not the ones in OPs post)
>If you grow fatter you also make more muscle.
you don't need 1g/lb and it should be LBM anyway as a fricking 300 lb fatass does not need 300g of protein lmao
I follow it.
If you eat actual food it's not hard. As long as protein makes up about 25% of my daily calories I'm good.
I take 90g a day, from powder, starting this month,
The rest I don't care, but I definitely hit above my 150g per day
Between 0.6g-0.8g per lb of LEAN mass.
No, it 1g/lb of lean mass for your target weight when bulking and 1.5g during a cut.
>it's too much food
>it's too many calories
>it's too expensive
Black person, I'm already at more than 160 grams and it's only 5:30 pm. It cost me all of $11.30 AUD, so less than $8 in burger money, and I'm only at 1550 kcal.
Also our chicken and milk are more expensive than yours and I splurged on a $3.00 pair of cheese&bacon bread rolls that have next to no protein just because frick you I like them.
If you can't figure out how to eat 2200 kcal and 200 grams of proton for under $10 USD a day you're ngmi
I aim for 35 to 45 g per meal, three meals a day
No, but starting to think I should have because I've shrunk a lot over the years just eating my rice and losing weight.
A kilo of magerquark provides 90 grams of protein. And that's for before lunch.
Supplement companies took a bunch of studies that came to the conclusion that 1g/kg of lean mass was the maximum return on protein, adjusted to about .82g/lb of lean weight. They took these studies, switched kg to lb and then implied it was the bare minimum so you need more then they sell a protein supplement. They're also all roiders trying to hide the fact so they lie and say they eat something ridiculous like 1.5 or 2g per lb of bodyweight to gatekeep their physique.
Keep in mind that .82g is an adjusted average. They take the true average then raise it by two standard deviations just to be sure so even that is a lot of protein. From there, eating more protein doesn't more mass and actually more cholesterol and saturated fat is better correlated with lean mass in these studies.
As other anons have pointed out, your protein intake is supposed to be based on LEAN MASS SPECIFICALLY, NOT BODYWEIGHT!
I eat 140g which is 2g per kilo of lean mass only from animal sources, it's trivial.
I get 200+ grams just from diet alone, mostly from meat and the rest from dairy. I have like 800g of meat or fish every day.
I do. I'm 69 kilos and I ingest almost 140 grams of protein every day. Its really easy actually, only for 1850 calories
5 eggs in the morning with a small pot of liquid cheese(not skyr too expensive), 200 grams of pasta with 1 scoop of muscle tech nutritech, 2 portions of my meal prep of chicken breast and veggies with a small pot of liquid cheese in the evening, 400 grams of fromage blanc (more liquid cheese) before sleeping. 140 grams of protein, 1850 calories, 200 grams of carb. Piss easy and I could still eat more.
