Even if they roid they tend to have the skin of a New England cod fisherman battered by decades of wind. Studies not needed - a well-adjusted person viscerally, intuitively understands that if you solely eat meat rather than majority-meat, let alone raw meat, your body is going to be sickly and fricked up the same type of way a vegan's is. It will be obvious. People will look at you, particularly the skin, and conclude something nasty is going on. "Is he ill? Bad genetics? etc." will be running in their head. moronic meme diets will destroy everything you've worked towards. Eat normal shit with nutritional variety, simple as that.

i'll be honest, i wouldn't eat raw meat, but for some reason it looks way tastier raw than cooked

      Anonymous

Try some sashimi or steak tartare. The reason it looks appealing is because it's vibrant and full of nutrients. If you really take some time and look at cooked meat, it's actually disgusting looking. It's gray and brown and looks dead, because it's been partially destroyed by cooking. Raw meat looks appealing for a reason.

The only reason I don't eat fully raw is that I don't have access to great meat where I live. I've tried raw tuna, swordfish, oysters, and deer, and they all tasted incredible. They also made me feel alive in a way that cooked meat doesn't.

            Anonymous

Because its an elimination diet. People typically dont season raw meat or eat it with sides. People who follow these trends tend to go whole hog.

Nobody has ever done a cauliflower diet. But I get your point. People tend to have more reactions to plant foods than animal foods. And raw meat eaters, as I said, dont season their food, and seasonings are plants, or eat veggies/fruit on the side

Not entirely true, wild horse live longer than domesticated ones because they can eat a more natural diet...

Domesticated animal will indeed live longer than in the wild because its less demanding to be sedentary and safe, but if you give them cooked and transformed slop they will die earlier compared to raw. Like for example a dog on a raw diet will live 3 years more than the average dog on cooked food.

        >Raw meat is the lightest and most digestible food, you literally absorb pretty much everything

It's called instinct and trial and error. Homoids that preferred the taste of cooked meat (a trait we've now inherited) had less energy requirements for chewing and digestion than those that contained to eat raw meat and evolved into humans, with more energy being available for larger brains.

The "cancer risk" from meat comes from the bitter, burnt crusts that people many times actively seek after when cooking. Raw meat doesnt have that problem.

Americans eat tons of meat, but as a society we're still extremely germ-phobic, especially around anything raw. When I tell people I drink raw milk and eat raw egg yolks they tell me how I'm going to get sick and die from it, that's literally the knee-jerk response of the vast majority of people here. I tell them I've been doing it for years and feel great, to which they say, "Yeah, but it's just a matter of time..." We can't even use the word "bacteria" in a positive way, companies selling fermented foods had to invent the marketing terms "probiotics" and "active cultures" to circumvent everyone's latent fear of bacteria and germs.

Europeans may eat less meat in general because they're poor and have too little farmland (thus relying on expensive imported meat), but they generally have far fewer hang ups about germs and raw food.

I've experienced the same phenomenon after going carnivore (not even raw). My sister insisted that I was going to die from consuming too much cholesterol and saturated fat. I told her I'd been eating that way for over a year and felt amazing. She also expressed concern about me eating my beef extremely rare (almost raw) and I explained that I've had no digestive issues after doing it for many months.

People are so deeply brainwashed that even when you provide them with strong counter-evidence, their beliefs don't budge.

I dont agree with eating 0 carbs. The fact that breast milk is mostly carbs should tell you that carbs are essential for hoomans.
I do think, thoughever, that grains are garbage.

sugar making exist so we can have a way to get fat when necessary and if necessary
            its not obligatory
also babies needs to get fat to grow thats why milk has carbs
and babies uses all of it in 2 hours, getting on ketosis again

Carnivore is exclusively meat. Nothing else. Primarily meat means nothing. Its as much carnivore as it is Mediterranean or veganism. It means nothing and its a dishonest representation by Baker, surprise surprise.

If you had steak, eggs, and milk for breakfast, and someone asked if you ate all meat for breakfast, would you say yes? I would say no, and I would still be on carnivore. If your reply is anything but “yes that’s true and I apologize for being moronic,” then you’re being obtuse and are even more moronic than before and a homosexual to boot.

I'm not eating raw meat, but I kinda understand the logic behind.

I mean, did caveman anon had or knew about frying pans??

Pre-human hominoids discovered fire and began using it for cooking meat as it made it easier to chew. As a result humans have much smaller jaws and teeth than our pre-human ancestors that ate raw meat.

You dont really chew raw meat all that much, it goes down with ease.

          Anonymous

Presumably because you're cutting up bitesize chunks with utensils. Pre-human hominoids would have been tearing out chunks with their teeth, which is much easier if you cook your game over a spit for a few hours first. That's what allowed humans to evolve to have smaller jaws and teeth.

            Anonymous

Pre human hominids could cook but they couldn't butcher an animal and cut their flesh into bite sized chunks? In my experience, raw meat is chewy, but it isn't meant to be chewed, it only needs to be cut/incised in a small enough piece so you can swallow it, if you tried that with cooked meat you might choke but raw meat goes down the throat easy. That being said, it's still aged meat in all likelihood which is more tender I believe, I would guess some parts of the animal they would be able to eat easier raw and other parts they wouldn't, parts with a lot of connective tissue for example which would be better to cook.

There is evidence of early humans making stone tools around 4 million years ago. When you take flakes off a stone they are incredibly sharp. Could easily be used to cut meat. The evolution of our shoulder and hand is most likely tied to throwing and holding stone tools with more dexterity.
Also indicators of tool use happens the same time jaw sized began decreasing

Raw meat is easy to chew ,liver and ribeye just melt in my mouth. But I agree that some cuts are tougher than others but its not hard to eat. Its still easier to eat than well cooked beef or jerky.

      >still easier to eat than well cooked beef
This is true of certain lean, tender cuts but the majority of a cow is tough muscle with lots of connective tissue attached which turns incredibly tender with long slow cooking like smoking.

If you are doing carnivore for a long time and decide to cheat with carbs and garbage you might will get swelling feet
It goes away after two weeks
If you keep a little bit of carbs during it, the next time you cheat it wont be so bad
If you had autoimmune symptoms before carnivore, keeping the little bit of carbs can bring them back so beware with cheating days and be prepared to pay the price if its worth
    Have fun
