The OP is a moronic gay but you are wrong on pretty much every count. Have you read any actual poetry beyond what you were taught in HS? I doubt you even read the Iliad, be honest, the internet has given everyone under the age of 30 some acute form of ADHD.
the benefit that you get whilst exercising your brain to learn a language or a poem is more so than learning a poem itself. you're reprogramming a brain to create new neural pathways that will make you more intelligent. this is why you learn pythagoras theorem and seemingly stupid shit at school. it trains your brain to not be fricking stupid and post shit like this. congrats, you're a brainlet with a google

Reading this book in between sets. Not a high intelligence stuff but pretty creepy and cool. Own a hardback copy and just pirated it on my phone to read it in a gym.
No. This American writer only available in russian. It's a book of two of his horror anthologies Noctuary and Teatro Grottesco. Short form is good for reading between sets.

Bet that homosexual knows a bit of Japanese from anime and hasn't read poetry since grade 11 English. I'm sure he knows a lot of fun facts from /r/TodayILearned though
Based on the seethe it generates, yeah.
Everyone fails to realise he says "body builder". Someone who is fit or athletic is not nessecarily a body builder. A body builder is a special breed of moronic.
Dude discovered that everyone has limited time and you cannot be a bodybuilder, a party animal, a family man, a CEO and a scientist all at the same time.

Anyone who lifts knows this to be right, just can't accept it because of ego.
If you push yourself to accomplish something all your time is for that goal. Losing weight, getting fit, etc... is a full time endeavour. Same with studying to be an A student or trying to be a good pianist.
If you are lucky there is something you center your life around, as most people do, and the rest it's secondary or complementary to that. Family, job, hobbies,drugs,... I'm not saying you can't get fit while being learned, I'm saying that if pressed to leave one of the two for the other, you already knew what to drop.
Sorta, like I wish I would have brought my bike sooner instead of "focusing on the gym".
There are some things I wish I would have done earlier instead of being a gym rat, like playing volley more, going outdoors more, but I'm too much of a social pariah, the gym was a comfy shelter. Glad I woke up though and I'm no longer 100% gym focused. Less gains, strength went don't but I really don't care about it as much as I did. There are other activities that are worth doing.
Not to say the gym is bad, it's been a sanctuary for me for years, decades. But it's ultimately a place to evolve out of, like some sort of butterfly out of a cocoon.

You cannot understand facts if you do not have physical culture.
guaranteed that guy speaks probably one language decently and another language poorly. Poetry is pointless lyrical masturbation for pretentious dickwads and fun facts is a term only a desperate loser would use when injecting himself into other people's conversation with inane chatter.
I lift between 10 and 11:30 PM. The only thing I'm "missing" is late night TV and video games
a girl in great shape got in front of me to do her cardio when I was on the stairmaster. she was wearing absolutely see-through shorts and a thong. I appreciated it and I looked because it would be disrespectful not to
it's crazy to think that after an hour on that machine I still gotta do all the normal functions of the day
I just picked up a collection of poems by Emily Dickinson. Her words were so pretty I wanted to cry. Also currently reading The Iliad but it's only a poem in the sense that it was sung by bards to a rhythm, but 'scholars' love to say "THIS IS ACTUALLY A POEM HAHA" but imo it's not 'reading poetry'
Anyone saying I need to learn a language is moronic. There are enough books published in English for me to read before I die. I hate traveling and will never need to speak French, German, among other languages.
If you dont like to travel, then sure it would be a waste of time. But many people do want experience other countries and their cultures outside of designated tourist areas, and only 17% of people in the world can speak english. Even knowing basic spanish or arabic opens up many new parts of the world that were off limits outside of designated tourist areas and resorts
I've traveled to probably around 80 different countries. I only speak 2 languages. It would be almost impossible to know the languages/dialects of all of these cultures. Traveling is not a reason to learn a language. If you plan on going somewhere longterm (a year or more), or it's someplace you plan to visit very frequently, then you mat benefit from learning their native tongue. Otherwise, you are a tourist.
Spanish is a great second language if you ever plan to set foot in LatAm. Mandarin if you want to become very valuable to western businesses who needs someone down there that they can trust
Why do college midwits always like like liftan' and learnin' are some sort of mutually exclusive duo?
I'm currently deadlifting and am halfway through my bachelor's degree. Gonna do intern shit next year and so forth. Oh wait, I don't drink, smoke weed, or soi out at plebtendo consoles and other shit, so I guess I have the time to be a friendless loner who lifts instead? Eh.

No. Get bent, gay.

But you could speak 5 languages, learn an instrument, paint, etc.
No point in speaking 5 languages you moronic c**t unlikely he'll travel enough to need all 3 even
I also play multiple instruments. Painting though I don't care about
I speak 2 languages and unless I practice regularly, I'll get rusty. Would hate knowing 5. It's completely pointless nowadays.

replace these activites he posted with actually useful activities and he'd be right
the bottom line is lifting is very low in hierarchy of usefulness
Each poem a ISTtard had written represents a muscle he didn't pump up.
