Just use unflavored whey and add cacao powder dude. Yours tastes artificial because there is literally artificial sweeteners in it. Use a tony bit of honey or maple syrup if you really need the sweetness. You can also just add tea and milk to your protein shake and it tastes like unsweetened boba tea without the pearls. Coffee is good in it too, especially with cacao.

Can do a dozen soft boiled eggs in 6 mins + time to heat water to a boil and keep them in a bag in the fridge - just add 2 or 3 to the gruel after microwaving the oats and beans. By varying the spices you use it can completely change the flavor profile and add enough variation to eat often. It's also cheap as frick.
