Yeah, putting constant stress on your body probably isn't conducive to extending your life span to an inhuman amount. But then again pretty much everything in modern life will kill you faster than old age so why not at least look sexy

Overall they found that those who exercised the least were about 20 percent more likely to die over the 45 years than those who were regularly active.
However, when they filtered for lifestyle factors including education, body mass index (BMI), smoking, and alcohol consumption that number dropped significantly.
Then those in the sedentary group were only seven percent more likely to die compared to those in the active group with “no additional benefits provided” by higher levels of exercise.

I'm not living my life halfway, even if it is just a second, I burn bright as the sun...and after that only white ashes remain. There is no halfway, only ashes remain afterward.

Are we referring to weight training or cardio? I thought it was the hardcore cardiogay marathoners who paradoxically have higher mortality

Better to live well and die young than to drag out the business of dying for decades

Yeah diminishing returns set in at like 30 minutes of light cardio per day. Some of us like mountain biking and think big muscles look cool.
