Take some weight off and start doing 3 sets of 8. Watch your OHP magically start going up again. Boom, fixed it.
Does 3x10 have any benefits/downsides in comparison to 3x8?
If you jump from sets of 5 to sets of 10 you're gonna have a bad time. Start with sets of 8, if those feel good for a while then maybe move up to 10.
you have options:
a) add volume
b) add intensity (heavy triples 10x3)
c) switch up your push for a week (do something you never do to shock your muscles into growth like close grip bench press or weighted dips or something — any new movement that you can overload for a week or even 2.

It's a 5 workout super set exercise, each letter stands for one of the exercises.
All using the same dumbbells

Basic db overhead press
>T
Basic db lateral raises
>F
Basic db front raises
>W
With your arms at a right angle facing upwards, hold the angle while bringing your elbows together in front of your chest
>L
Same starting position as above, but move your arms at the shoulder down so that your forearms are parallel with the ground
Do all of those back to back with 5 reps each, 3 sets, once you can do the whole thing with 8 reps each, 3 sets, increase the weight. You will see shoulder growth.

Wanna hear something really sad? I once stopped doing bench for 6 months to focus on OHP and I barely increased 1 rep max by 5 kg. It's a pretty useless lift imo, maybe good as last exercise, to get some mobility and triceps work done.
What was your 1rm when you started focusing on it?
it must be your form. I used to feel the same way then read the chapter on OHP in SS and all of a sudden just "got it".
