OK seriously, how the frick do I program ab/core work into my routine? I do a six day PPL and rest on Sundays and have literally never done direct core work because I fell for the "squats and deadlifts are enough for abs" meme. Do I add one ab exercises to the end of each workout, 2 exercises every other workout, do them on leg day, or have a whole dedicated core workout? What do you homosexuals even do?

in terms of recovery, how good is the core? early on I would expect a lot of DOMs but how would i program my core workouts for maximum hypertrophy throughout the week?
They recover extremely quickly. Maybe do abs 4 days a week. I do and have no problems with it.
