Okay, I have been convinced to try the raw meat meme

Obviously I will also consume raw dairy and eggs too but there's something I have been wondering about. Do you clean the meat with water before eating it since you won't be cooking it?

There's like a 0.01% chance your meat is actually infected so I don't see what you're washing off (microplastics maybe?)

Just in case, that's why I'm asking.

      >0.01%
Thats... absurdly high? You're saying it's about a 100 meals till you get infected

0.01% = one in ten thousand actually moron bro. But it's actually less than that. More like one in 100k or even 1 million depending on where you source it from

definitely higher than that, there's a reason they say not to store cooked meat next to raw meat. enjoy your creutzfeldt-jakob disease

Sup anon, i have been eating on raw meat for 6 months now.

I have not made it my only type of food, but i can say i eat raw organs and ground meat consistently, 4-5 times a week.

Health and energy had a massive gain streak, i also had bad days sitting on a toilet when i was careless selecting meat, and when my stomach still had to adapt.

Now it almost never happens and so far even raw tuna has been a blessing (just like sashimi, but 4x cheaper).

What i would say is that adapting to it slowly is best. If your stomach can get upset do it 2 times a week maybe, so you don't overload.

Also one thing i trust Sv3rige on is that bacteria is likely not the root cause of all this bad, and many other artificial factors incur. So quality is much more important than 'cleanliness'.

Bacteria may be hard at start, but generally you adapt to their presence.

Also do try raw eggs shaked with honey and (good) cinnamon. It is one of the best things in life.

Personally i think Sv3rige advice is really good but you need to know how to adapt it to yourself as he's too extreme for many to literally stomach.

For example at the moment i eat half my raw meat by cutting it in tall pieces, then cooking it in butter for short times so that it's almost all raw inside, but the surface is cooked and buttery and i can salt and pepper it and i get the best of both worlds.

    Take it slow.

I really appreciate your post and am thankful that you took your time to respond but this specific thing makes me uneasy. I just need to be sure before diving.

One thing you can do while you ponder this is to eat meat designed to be eaten raw, so tartares and carpaccios.

Not nearly as good as organs, but definitely better than cooked.

There is not much to do about bacterias and the like more than being ready to suffer a bit. It's your stomach which has to relearn how to deal with them and you can't buy a book for it to read

Are you sure about that? It kinda sounds scary, I don't know why though.

Yes, life is scary and risk is a constant, only varying on how much, and how much is hidden.

You are now evaluating the risk of bacterial infection, but you aren't evaluating the risk of not taking said risk, say leave out huge health benefits if said risk is passed for example.

If you have a sanitized relationship with the unknown and the nature of life nothing can help you.

Take your risks mindfully, but do not ignore that it is a basic dimension, unescapable, to all life.

Don't get me wrong, I will try it later today but was wondering if it wouldn't be better to at least clean it with boiling hot water.

Okay I just finished a slice of pork neck(it's my first raw meat so yeah, I start with random stuff), it's SGS certified so I guess it's safe(I really hope). I have never done that before and was kind of afraid of doing it but it's ok. The taste is not great but it's not bad either, the blood is kinda cool ngl. What's the most fascinating thing is that you get fed without feeling full. I really hope thing thing works out because it's actually cheaper and less effort than cooking.

I'm unironically feeling very happy and it has been a whole hour already. I don't know what's really going on but this just seems like it's too good to be true.

Just don't eat factory farmed, vaccinated, grain fed slop. The elites enjoy sushi, carpaccio, tartar and caviar while the plebs consume pic related and hide in their house for two years because of a cold.
