        I'm someone who was already very critical of my bf% and thought I was at 15%bf before my cut.
        Now being a few months into it, I can tell I was closer to 20%bf.
        People REALLY underestimate their bf% and over estimate their lean body mass.
        Your probably anywhere from 5-10% more bf% than you think you are.

        DEXA scanners aren't that accurate unless under absolute perfect conditions.
        There's been plenty of videos posted on youtube of people messing up scanners.

        I've seen ridiculous claims about bf% from "professionals".
        Like when they'll sometimes put out states for an athlete and they'll mention bf%
        I remember one football player was having his physical states shown and they said his bf% was 3% lol
        Fricker was 12%bf at best.

            It fine to do if you have the money. I wouldn't bother if $100 sounds like a lot of money to you.
            DEXA scan can be used as a reference to other methods of finding bf%.
            But it should not be the only way to measure bf%.
            People think because they paid a lot of money for it that it must be the most accurate measurement.

            Yeah, a mirror and bf% calipers.
            Those tend to be the most reliable and all you really need.
            BUT you need experience with knowing what varying levels of bf% looks like on varying levels of lean body mass to really get a good idea.

            There is no easy way to tell bf% without some experience.
            You just have to keep loosing/gaining fat and be honest with yourself.
