My PF membership is $30 per month and it's dogshit. I would gladly pay another $10 per month to get out of that God-forsaken hole.

It's $10 for me. I have that membership on top of my normal gym membership just for convenience sake. Pop in and do my cardio etc...

i think there is a 30$ option. i am debating getting the 10$ one for same as you, i already go to a hardcore gym; but my specific location is no longer 24 hours. i imagine due to Black folk.

I was a member from 2016-18. Obvious benefit is the 24/7 gimmick.

Downside is sometimes there are angry Black folk outside that try to get your attention to let them in. They'll stand there and pound on the windows, getting madder and madder. Sometimes, they'll camp the doors and wait for you to leave, so they can slip in and steal shit.

Switched to LAFitness when I moved.

Are all Anytime gyms required to have a standard set of machines, or does the franchisee pick and choose?
What are the chances of an Anytime gym having a hack-squat machine? A HORIZONTAL leg-press machine? An assisted pull-up machine? A dip machine like the one Sulek uses at Planet Fitness?

      Anonymous

I don't know for sure as I rarely use those machines but I'd say most have assisted pull up. I think they're only required to have a rack and some cardio.

It's good. I dropped my membership as there's not many locations where I am in southeast Asia but for America, Australia, some parts of Europe it's great. What you can do to save $$$ is start your membership at a small location with a small monthly fee. This fee grandfathers in permanently even if your "home gym" changes

It's incredible to see this slave-tier consumer mindset. The slave vigorously defends the masters chains and mocks anyone who would consider fighting for their freedom. Imagine if this poster isn't a paid corporate shill, freely offering his labor towards a profit he will never reap.

What a colossal fricking stretch. Imagine believing that and actually taking the time to write it out and post it. Now imagine if you put that much effort into actually using a gym membership. You wouldnt be such a lard ass that copes with food because your broken mind has to rationalize how fricked up and stupid you are.

Same here. Anytime has been my gym since I started lifting a decade ago, have had two locations as my "home" gym and both and both were comfortable and have everything I need. Not a lot of frills like some huge LA Fitness thing, but all the normal stuff I need to get a good and complete workout. The 24/7 thing is basically essential to me since I work evenings and my regular workout time is usually some time between 10pm and 1am. No complaints, it everything I need and I've gotten in great shape there over a decade.

honestly from what I remember NO ONE was hanging around the front desk and I just walked in without even swiping my card or anyone stopping me at all. I didn't really see any workers either outside of maaaaybe seeing one of them talking to a gym member on the floor working out just shooting the shit. I mean it's skeleton as skeleton crews go.

Most 24hr gyms if you go in the middle of the night are pretty much free to get into. Here we have eos that doesnt even have a keyfob or anything you can just walk in when theres nobody at the desk and never scan
