Usually grips or rings things that allow you to do deeper reps are better for chest. Closest floor variation would be the pseudo planche or maltese pushups. Your upper/inner chest will still lag unless you do pikes or some kind of hindu pushup. It's really hard to hit just the right pressing angle without a bench or at least parallels. But it's going to take a lot in any case if you don't have broader pec insertions.
Ring pushups are generally the best in slot for push work because you can press, rotate, and adduct the arms in a single rep. That allows you to really get a sqeeze across the whole chest and changing the angle doesn't require more balance like it does with pike. Big plus is also neutral wrists and if you have rings you can do all manner of chest accessories like ring flies and ring pullovers and arm isolations.
Worse for the shoulder because of the internal rotation but easier on the wrist. They're useful if you haven't managed to unlock archer pushups yet but I wouldn't stick with them longer than nessisary.
weighted deficit on chairs are better i believe
After more than half of year of pushups my chest looks fine i think, but mostly upper chest, i can still count my ribs on lower chest.
Are there any speicific pushup type for lower chest or its mostly genetic?
>i can still count my ribs on lower chest.
Mate, not eating and only doing light work is not determined by your genetics lmao, just bulk and focus more on traditional pushups which don't focus as much on the upper pec. If you can see your ribs on your chest area you're too skinny so doesn't matter how or what you train you'll always be dyel
They are good, push-ups are based
How much do you need to get a good looking chest?

cringe, obviously
Because?
god you're embarrrasing me mom
Good to superset after a triceps isolation. I get a killer pump doing that. Close grip bench press works too.
There are better tricep exercises, and any other pushup variation is better for chest. Just don't see the use in them that's all. Straight to C tier
For some reason, I get a better chest activation with diamond pushups than with any other variation.
Diamond push-ups would target inner-pecs / triceps while wider stance would be for outer-pecs (compare barbell grip with for bench press), comments?
Because your form is bad lole
Not sure if moron or baiting, pecs only have upper and lower
can't you target inner versus outer chest with different exercises or dumbbell/barbell techniques?
They make my shoulders fell funny, no no.
They are a dime a dozen

I got to like 10 reps per set while wearing a weighted vest, after that I gave up and bought a power rack for bench pressing instead kek
Only really good for hitting the triceps when they're already dead.
Good for beginners
Sphinx pushups are better for targeting triceps, and bodyweight tricep extensions even better than those
