Macros seem really good, low fat, decent protein, good amount of fiber stacked in not that much of carbs.

Taste is mild but good imo, has not made me gassy.

    They're awesome. A can a day plus maybe two dry measure cups of grains like rice or oats gives you ~50g protein and an assload of carbs for very little fat. Should be the foundation of a IST diet.

    They're good yeah. If I eat canned beans I get gassy, but not if I rinse the starchy goo off it. You can ferment them too which helps if ur not like OP and get gas.

    Refried beans taste amazing and go down easy. I've yet to eat real refried beans btw just canned.

    As I understand it they're the magical fruit. Unfortunately though it may be the case that the more you eat the more you toot so I don't really know what to think.

    There's a reason beans became a staple in the American west with dudes that fricked around wrangling cattle, building fences, riding hundreds of miles to the nearest town, etc. for 14 hours in the fricking dessert 6 days a week.
    Good protein, light weight, long shelf life, good flavor, great bang for your buck, easy to cook...

            Hey there, dumbfrick. Whether you want to acknowledge or ignore the importance of shelf stability and how that affects the price/value of a commodity we import and export around the fricking world in these globalized times. Beans are 100% as healthy today as they were hundreds of years ago. Maybe your scrawny ass can afford to get total daily calories and protein from wagyu beef and cocaine if you wanted to, but most bodybuilders and powerlifters eat beans, rice, chicken, and all the cheapest healthy sources of calories/protein they can find because that's common fricking sense that applies to the majority of people on the planet whether they're dirt poor or got rich and simply want to stay that way not spending $3,000 a month on food to maintain the physique of a woman. Which is how dietary advice should be dished out based on the widest group of people that could benefit from such guidance. Beans are good. You're stupid.

    I have 100lbs of dried beans.
    I soak them for 2 days before cooking and never ever have digestive issues.

    Super filling and versatile. Very based

    Luv beans
    Low GI carb, good fibre, some protein. What's not to like?

    Some ways I like to eat beans:
    >carb source on the side of some moderate protein like an omlette
    >bean salads (pic related) for a light, quick to prep lunch
    >beans to bulk out chili or bolognese
    >mashed bean dips
    >refried beans in a burrito
