Over the past few months I noticed some dry scalp. The only reason that I could explain is because of my new diet that has more yeast products. Besides swapping back to the old diet, is there anything I could do now to reduce the flakey stuff like anti-dandruff shampoo and should I wash my hair daily?
Shave your head
you could try the anti-dandruff stuff
i've never had that stuff, and i only shower like once a week
this one kid back in school had it like crazy, so i assume genetics are a part
i think you have "dry hair", there are shampoos for that, to make it a bit more oily or whatever, and thus hydrated and thus not fall off
i don't know that an alergic reaction to new foods can cause it, but maybe
>this one kid back in school had it like crazy, so i assume genetics are a part
Blackpilled again
I had this problem growing up too but after finishing puberty it exploded to some sort of issue where anytime I shower (have tried cold water too) my face and hair are just full of white stuff and my lips are permanently dry even with chapstick
They're always still peeling and cracking whenever it wears off
It's really annoying because sometimes I'll think I'm okay and then before I head out I check again and my face has it all over and I have to clean it off
had this recently too.
appeared out of fuckin nowhere when I was putting up a shack in my mama's garden. disappeared the day after I finished it. keep in mind i don't use any special shampoo or smth, just a shower gel.
What diet are you on that has a lot of yeast products
Eating out fat chicks
Wash your hair with shampoo max once every 7-10 days. Every other day (or 3 days) wash it with conditioner.
Tea tree oil improved my scalp significantly. Rub it into your scalp in the shower.
Don't shave your head
I am currently trying out castor oil and rosemary oil for my hair/scalp. I can't say much because I'm not even a week in. We'll see what happens after a month.
Use a hydrating hair mask.
Use a hydrating non-silicone conditioner/hair food that you can also rub into your scalp, like garnier hair food.
This shit will save you a lot of trouble.

Does it have to be the same brand because I found some cheaper with the same components. How often do you wash your hair with it?
Do NOT listen to dumbasses that recommend Nizoral and other anti fungal shampoos, they ONLY work against skin conditions like seborrheic dermatitis and the flakes are oily and stuck to your skin, not dry scalp and dry flakes.
For dry scalp and flakes you have to change your shampoo to a gentler one. You are using the wrong shampoo for your hair type, so try to find a sensitive shampoo with more natural ingredients that aren't harsh.
This plus pic rel. White Vinigar works great too.
Wash your hair with only hot water. If you aren't completely genetically fucked then your dandruff will disappear and oils with stay at a normal level.
You can use Nizoral or something similar every week or so. The main cause of dry scalp is lack of moisturizing your headtop after showering so get some hair goo or leave-in product that works to keep your scalp hydrated. Along with the Nizoral or knock off product you should see this go away within a month. You have to keep using leave-in product though if you see it return. Itchiness should go too.
depends whats actually causing it. drandruff from fungus is yellowy, to kill the fungus you can use essential oils in an eye dropper. mix a few drops of something like rosemary in some mct oil and rub it into your scalp
Seborrheic Dermatitis.
It's so over.
use hair oil (castor or whatever) every night when you go to bed
Shave your head. Then wash without shampoo for the rest of your life. However, you have to manually clean your scalp by scrubbing hard before washing, and then during washing.
Don't use shampoo ever. Use one of these. Get a shower filter that filters out chlorine and flouride. Coconut Oil, Castor Oil to hydrate.
>Coconut Oil, Castor Oil to hydrate.
No. If you are not going to shampoo, then don't fucking put oil on your scalp, what the hell?
Coconut oil helps a ton. Idk why this Akon is saying not to do it. It’s not like you’re meant to just leave the oil in your hair. You oil scalp, let sit for 10 minutes, rub/Pat dry with a towel, then get in the shower and rinse hair. If you did it right (not rocket science) your hair will not be oily and instead will have a ton of volume.
I do this twice a week and it’s helped my psoriasis(may just be flakey scalp idk) a ton.
The other option is to get one of those bonnets black people use, oil it before bed, sleep with bonnet on, rinse in the morning.
I swear my hair is getting thicker too and my hairline has grown back since doing this. I’ve also been applying it to my face and body and my skin is clearing up. Pores shrinking, no acne. Back acne is clearing up a lot. Coconut oil is amazing.
stop using shampoo so much and start using coconut oil after every shower (just small amounts)
