Oversized Calves

I am 180 cm (5’11) tall and weigh 73 kg (160 lbs).

Overall, I am skinny but have a some fat in my hips, thighs, and calves.

My calves are ridiculously large compared to the rest of my body.

How can I reduce the size of my calves?

Last year I weighed 86 kg (190 lbs). Despite losing a lot of weight since last year, my calves have not gotten even a bit smaller.

I have had ridiculously large calves as far as I can remember.

In grade school, I was underweight yet had huge calves. My classmates would always point out how huge my calves were so I am certain that it was not just my imagination.

yeah same. it's your genetics. nothing you can do but lose weight hardcore and even then they'll still wont look as skinny as you'd want them to. leg day might do things worse btw

I do not really want to lose more weight as if I get more than 5 kg (11 lbs) skinnier my upper body will start looking skeletal.

Jump rope and dunk a baskball. Cry me a river homie.

How would this help? My calves would presumably become bigger if I took up skipping and/or basketball.

Build muscle everywhere else. That's your only option.

I do not want to be very muscular. I want a more athletic but skinny body.

Almost all my other body parts are skinny. They look ridiculous on me. People notice and point out how ridiculously huge they are.

Boxing commentators always go on about how big calves gives you KO power. Use your powers

use boots instead of normal shoes. the more it limits the mobility of your ankle the more it will lead to atrophy. another alternative is just stop walking, get a segway or something.

I am not fat anywhere else. Look at my arm pic ITT.

I also eat 1500 or less calories most days and have lost 30 lbs. I am currently 160 lbs.

Do I look fat. Look at my arm pic here:

      big calfs are hot bro

Not if they do not fit the rest of my fricking body. Kids would make fun of me when I was literally an underweight 5th grader with obese calves and even now as an adult people point them out and gossip about them.

you thinking about it wrong then. You should be looking at increasing other parts of your body, not decreasing your calf size. Start doing squats, lunges, deadlifts and build up the rest of your legs and lower body. Everyone loves a big butt
And of course work more on your upper body too.

I am not even trying to be muscular though. My ideal body is athletic but overall skinny. I want small calves.

Wtf I'm 6'1 and 84 kg and my calves are tiny. If I don't wear 5 inch inseam shorts it looks like I have stick legs

Wtf is wrong with my calves. I had an eating disorder as a kid. I was medically underweight yet still had obese fricking calves. Why will they not get smaller. I lost 30 no correct 35 fricking lbs since I just weighed myself and I am actually 155 lbs and they will not fricking get smaller!

Explain. Also I am not overweight anymore but I was overweight for two years. Prior to that I was normal and as a kid I was medically underweight. I have always had weird extremely fat calves.
