parent's dont want me to lose weight

parent's are against it. I don't understand. They are spouting off all sorts of stuff like starvation mode, anorexia, bulimia, saying that this is really serious and I need to go to the doctor.
It's getting really difficult since my parents have been buying/making my favourite foods, trying to get me to eat.

      That’s because that’s not what fasting is for. Fasting is primarily for fat loss and is most effective for those who are morbidly obese.

      Once you’ve lost that fat and gotten to a reasonable body fat percentage it makes more sense to switch over to a muscle building program that will increase your metabolism along with some form of cardio. At this point if you do fast you should just do IF. The more prolonged fasts of 3 days or more is just unnecessary for you to look good when you are around 18% body fat. At that point you look better than average and you should be looking to maintain your physique which requires a more sustainable lifestyle.

          I agree the majority don’t, that’s why we live in a society that is becoming more and more obese. But that doesn’t mean that people should just give up and it doesn’t mean everyone fails.

          I tell people who are close to me I am more than happy to help but they need to start as simply as possibly. I tell them to eat within a 12 hour window everyday for a week. That includes sleep. So basically 8 hrs of sleep plus 4 hours while awake. I don’t care how you do it, but just do it for a week. Then if they manage to do that we’ll increase it by two hours the next week and see how it goes.

          They almost never follow through. But I don’t want to them to give up. I fail all the time at my diet and fitness goals. But I keep trying. That’s the lesson really.

          My younger brother is literally obese at 12 years of age such that he has labored breathing and even the doctor said he has got to lose weight and exercise. My parent's don't care, they continue to feed him until he literally vomits. They heap so much food onto his plate and make him eat all of it. It's sickening, I've told my parents and even my brother that he has to eat less and my parents brush it off.

        Idk how much youre fasting but dont be a retard. Just eat at like a 500 cal deficit and eat a ton of protein and recomp. Noobs can easily gain muscle and lose fat while maintaining a healthy diet.

        Dieting is easiest if you can move out, so much easier to control your own food.

        Also dont be a sperg. Always go and atleast eat a little, or for meals you know you gota eat, eat less the rest of the day.

        Follow up. Especially in situations like this my easy trick is to go and just eat all the protein and leave the carbs to the pigs. Yeah the protein is the main part but whatever not my problem. Everyone else can eat the mac and cheese and the cornbread. You could eat as much meat and vegges as you want almost, their cals to satiety ratio is real good.

        Ah. It’s because my parents were similar, but not as bad. They both have childhood trauma having no food to eat, so in their adulthood they go overboard with food so they and their kids don’t have to go through that again.
        They’re mad because they’re scared, thinking you’re on a path to hunger and suffering and it’ll be avoided if you’d only listen to them and eat, but they don’t realize they’re no longer in a third world shithole and you no longer have to get fat for the winter or some shit because food is available now. Of course, this doesn’t justify their aggression. They need to catch up with reality.
        Try to get through them. It’ll be messy, but if you ask them about their perspective and reassure them that they’re finally free from the danger of starvation. I can’t guarantee that they’ll understand right away, but as you chip away at the trauma they’ve been blind to for so long, they’ll get passed their issues and see things from your perspective.
        Also keep up your diet and exercise. You’ll make it as long as you keep your conviction
