just because your ancestors ate something, lived to 40 and had kids doesn't meant it's good for you. You can live on mcdonalds until 40 and have kids too.

You need to look up the definition of strawman. You one of those people who just yell “stop gaslighting me!” when you lose an argument?

The only society that ever based itself on grains was ancient Egypt and everyone made fun of them for being fatfricks with manboobs.

It's quantity over quality. Grains have basically 0 nutritional value, they're just calories and carbs. Sustaining, but not nourishing.

Yeah but who tf eats grains on their own, add a bannana, berries or some pasta sauce to them if you want nutrients, simples

Grain has historically always been viewed as a quantity over quality type of sustenance. There's a reason why the rich have always dined on meat, dairy, fruit and vegetables, whilst bread and other grain foods are most often found in the diets of the working poor.

And where did that get us? The majority of the human population on the planet is overweight. The way it's going it's going to be mostly obese within decades. Agriculture is a failed experiment.

lmao, humans aren't even used to grains yet, here grains were introduce only a few hundred years ago and everyone gets stomach problems from them.

Grains are slop for masses, just because they sustain humans doesn't mean they are good for us you dummy. You can live on fricking gummy bears.

The greatest civilizations did have grains, but they also had meat and/or fish in considerable amounts. There hasn't been a single great civilization that didn't consume meat/fish/animal products.

Not the mongols. They btfo every great civilization who had a grain diet. Meat in general is a performance enhancer. Fur traders and explorers could travel 50% further in a day on meat and fats over eating grain. It can keep you alive sure, but you won't thrive on it. Also it is genetic. Some people can thrive on it while others can eat it and be bed bound.

Civilization is built on grain because its cheap and plentiful, not because its quality. Keep in mind that hunter-gatherers had longer lifespans than during most of civilization, and it wasn't really until modern medicine, germ theory, etc did our modern lifespans really surpass

All that is to say, a grain-based diet probably isnt the best for you on an individual level. But if everyone were to go keto/paleo/carnivore/blah-blah-blah tjen there wouldn't be enough for everyone, and it wouldnt work. It similar to how I can pirate vidya and movies because there are enough simps out there to pay for it. If theoretically everyone pirated, no.l games/movies would be made

As societies scaled, they needed a way to feed more and more people that met these criteria:
    >cheap and plentiful
    >can be stockpiled in case of drought (because you can't pick up and move like when you were a small tribe)
    >can be traded easily
Grains met those criteria. Notice what ISN'T important is how nutritional the food is. Grains have always been "good enough" to make society work at scale. Meat is better for you but you couldn't feed everyone on it in early civilization when they started scaling. Factory farming made it possible for most people to live on meat and dairy and yet people still eat goyslop lmao.

Civilization is built on slavery. Grains enable an excess slave population of human livestock. Nothing to do with grains promoting health in humans.
