My wife is buying us a dog soon and really likes Havanese like pic rel.
Somehow we have a lot of shitbulls near our neighborhood even though the neighborhood itself is pretty nice so I want to make sure they our dog can fend for herself if we go for longer walks into the darker areas. I saw a post a while ago about a guy who incrementally attached little fishing weights to his cat so it was used to carrying more and more weight. I feel like a havanese has a lot of weights attaching potential as well as a solid natural pump cover to hide her true power. Any suggestions on supplements, rehab methods, or other workouts so I can build a fluffy little meat block?

Not sure if this whole thread is bait or not but a pitbull will literally one shot a havanese regardless of any "training" you do. If you really want to keep your dog safe you need to either move, never take it outside unless you are with it on a leash at all time, or just secretly poison all the pitties in your neighborhood

Never heard of this. I am in europe and they give you the dog for free and even give you coupons for vaccinations. If they charged for adoptions nobody would ever adopt.

You'd be surprised. Dogs are big business. Asking €600-900 for german shepherd pups on an online marketplace... I just checked the shelter. For dogs that are 6 months or younger it's €310, for a 10 year old dog €175, everything inbetween is €260. And almost every dog has some traumatised story about it requires extra attention and whatnot. I would probably nit even get them if they were free, but humans are fricking moronic, especially here.
Thats very strange. There must be a high demand for dogs where you live, because shelters in my country are always full and they would suck your dick if you took an animal off their hands. I got a free leash, bowl and sterilization with my dog.

You guys have it easy. Rescuing a puppy is 600-1000 aussie dollars here and you cant find properly bred dogs for less than 3000 unless its the most common breeds

Why does breed matter if its not a pitbull or sonlmething? Dogs are for friendship and not for showing off as a status symbol like youre some homosexual or stupid woman.
It’s more about ensuring they don’t have any genetic predispositions for illnesses. The showdog breeders test to make sure they won’t have heart problems or anything.
