This, half a shot doesn't do anything to begin with and that little xan doesn't do much either. I grew up in so cal where mixing xans with liquor wasn't uncommon and no one died. Only bad things that have ever happened to anyone I've known was from heroin or psychedelics. Mostly from the latter.
It’s dangerous to mix them but the danger is usually over exaggerated. Both alcohol and xanax release gaba into your system. Taking a xanax with alcohol basically doubles the effects of the amount of alcohol you drink, especially the gaba which can be toxic in very high amounts.

>5 = 10
>10 = 20

I had a panic attack a few days ago and had to pour out all of the alcohol in my house the next day. It has been bad lately and sometimes i try to drink to make it better but next thing I knew my heart rate was crazy and I was hyperventilating and stuff and my girlfriend almost had to call someone.
