1kg of fat is approximately 9000 calories. So 9000x7 = 63000 calories that you would have to burn in 5 weeks = 35 days. That gives 63000/35 = 1800 calorie deficit per day, or roughly 70-90% of your daily calorie intake, depending on what your current weight is.
Lots of people have lost weight the quick way and gained it all back. Losing weight today is such a freak show and it keeps me entertained reading about it.
Extremely doable but sucky.
As others have said 2-3lbs a week is reasonable given that it is a 1000-1500 cal a day deficit. Unless you are a manlet and burn <2500 calories a day, OMAD will get you there just fine
I've been doing a strict heavy-cardio + dietary restriction since July 1st. 2.5 to 3 hours of 15-degree incline cardio a day, coupled with eating only 800-1200 cals a day of exclusively protein, vegetables and vitamin supplements.
Starting weight 223.6 on July 1st, and 5 1/2 weeks in I'm 191 today, on track for 35 pounds in 6 weeks with two maintenance-eating days (one every other week).
No loose skin though? Well we'll see, but I'm sure I will have some by the end of August.
its funny reading the comments from people that have never actually tried losing weight before
your metabolism will slow to a grinding halt before you're even halfway there. you will have to be in a negative deficit, meaning not only will you have to eat 0 calories in a day but ontop of that you will have to do cardio to reach a double negative negative state
I hope you're ready to not experience true torment. you will be SO HUNGRY that sleep will be impossible and even standing up will make you dizzy enough to pass out
What do you mean 0 calories AND a deficit? Are you saying he's going to fast? Black person when I was younger I've gone from 6'1 300 pounds to 175 pounds and all I did was work out and eat clean and less. I've recently got fat again and went from 270 to 236.
you wont even burn your through your glycogen stores before you b***h out and give in to the hunger pangs
but go ahead and give it a shot
friendly reminder that losing weight = suffering
This guy is right. It's worth it though
Everyone is an expert in losing weight these days.
I don't have before or after on my phone ATM but might have one on my computer. I'm out at the docs ATM, but i will try to find a before picture when I get home. all I did was OMAD (dinner), and an hour after dinner, I'd do half an hour cardio (bike, approx 20kms) followed by an hour of weights (bro splits)
7 kilos of fat in 5 weeks?
no shot. You would have to starve yourself and 2 hours of cardio every day ontop of that
also I assume youre doing it natty? so will feel miserable the entire time
Good luck
Easily. And there's no chance that would give lose skin... You can literally drop 10lbs of water weight in 1 day
Tell me more, wise one. I believe believe I'm carrying around 5lbs of water right now because I ate a very salty meal yesterday.
who gives a frick about water weight lmao. that will just make the fat in his face stand out more
Water weight is worse for my face than fat.
Cutting water always makes me look sharp. I'd have to be 10% bf for the same effect.
you're wrong. cut down to 12% bodyfat and it will look much better than any water weight dehydration you can do
I don't see op specifying anywhere as to what he wanted the 14lbs to be, do you?
Dry fasting. Look up August Dunning on youtube.

1lb of fat is equivalent to 3,500 calories.
That's a 1000 calorie deficit per day to lose 2lbs per week.
he said 14lbs, not 10. i was wrong tho, 1kg of fat is 7700 calories, not 9000.
Yeah ik but 2lbs a week is the most you can do healthily.
Everyone is an expert in losing weight these days.
lots of people have lost weight, in lots of different ways

ok, and lots of people have lost it and not gained it back, what's your point?

So... a surplus?... Are you moronic?

I am
I just lost 5.5kgs in 3 weeks, so I can't see why not. it just takes discipline. I went from 82kgs and down to 76.5kgs
Before and after pic?

It's okay I just wanted to see the difference. Trying to get an idea of the results..
