>has a massive home gym
>very unimpressive physique
does this guy just jerk off to his equipment or does he actually lift it?
looks like hes in his 40s. i dont think thats bad for late 30s/40s
Lol it's just the mustache hairline combo. Coop is like 31
no shit? damn, im 36 and i look younger than him
his shoulders are nicer than mine tho
i mean yeah his arms are alright but he looks like he has never done a horizontal press in his life
yes it is
Most blackpilling reply on IST
This is obviously more a collection type hobby than for practical lifting. Look at where his plates are, there isnt even a rack or Bench close to it.
It's his job.
The garage is for vehicles, not gyms.
post garage
okay
Evo VIII > Simpreza
post your car
that Toyota is sick. what year, miles, etc?
it's a 1986 corolla gts, the engine is currently being rebuilt but there's around 160k miles on the body
Very nice IST, now post homegym
I got more plates off screen, the FID bench isnt the best but I really like everything else
Thanks bros these look great. How do you feel about the adjustable bench for all use case? I'm wondering if it's worth it to get flat and adjustable or if one will suffice
mine is just a little wobbly, which is annoying. Id say try just the adjustable at first and if its solid then you dont need a flat one
This is my gym. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My gym is my best friend. I must master is as I must master my life
Without me, my gym is useless. Without my gym, I am useless. I must lift in my gym true. I must lift heavier than my enemy who is trying to mog me. I must mog him before he mogs me.
>cracked mirror
what happen
It's an old wardrobe drawer. It cracked in storage so I repurposed as my gym mirror. It's also warped so I look like I have shirt legs and a long torso and it makes me hate myself and lift harder
>It's also warped so I look like I have shirt legs and a long torso and it makes me hate myself and lift harder
Based, mirin the advanced training strat
Bless you, anon. Gods speed
Do those with flags have a reason for the flag, or is it you just see a lot of home gyms with a flag so you felt like you needed one too?
It's sort of a meme in crossfit gyms, so it became a meme among home gyms. Yes, it's stupid.
It's a simple decoration that's easy to set up. I wouldn't say it's a meme where people feel the need to fit in, more just an idea that spread like diy deadlift platforms
Post homegym
My flag is ironic because every home gym I saw had a flag. It's a custom one I designed
that somehow seems worse
There are more plates off screen. Pretty cheap, maybe around $1,000, not including the bag. I think space is the biggest thing holding most people back.
Do you hit the fan when you OHP?
II step back to far, I’ll hit the lights. So I just stay a little closer to the rack. It hasn’t been an issue. The picture is a slight wide angle to include everything, so it’s kind of deceiving. The ceiling is taller than 8’ (it’s on a slope). I’m 6’ 1” with ridiculously long string bean toothpick arms, but hitting the fan hasn’t been a problem with OHP.
If I were lifting really heavy and dropped something, maybe it would be an issue. But it’s been really steady so far. The issue would be the safety bars. They’re good for one drop (the newer models use straps, but that limits some function, kinda. This rack really is one of those rare deals that’s a good value.
Yes, but it’s acktchually 320lbs worth of plates. Most of it’s for convenience; I only squat 225 because I’m old and skinny.
I would never trust the welds on the Walmart $200 rack.
with that amount of plates you are a dyel for sure
Could look better just spamming chin-ups, push-ups and lunges but nope gotta be a consoomer. So manly being pushed into a garage because your wife won't let you put anything inside.
I don't know why. But there's something endearing about that basedboy and his review channel.
I know I should just buy junk second hand plates. But bros... They're so kino
If I wanted to buy a cool set of plates, I would buy the Rogue deep dish ones.
What
said, also nice trips
Coop does t have a great physique, but he still strength mogs 99% of this board
what are his best lifts?
fricking dumbass collector sperg. uhh let me have way more weights than i possibly need just because
dumbass expression and his dyel looks really solidify how much of a fricking moron this guy is
>dumbass collector sperg
He gets money from this shit, how is this moronic?
he makes money from having and doing videos on all this shit. The high end shit is probably even gifted to him.
I don't have a dedicated space, but I got a foldable pullup bar and dip station and some kettlebells and dumbbells and other meme shit equipment that i dig just because it's unusual. I've been nagging my sis who has the basement to make room for a bench to no avail. Once I progress my pullups and pushups more I plan to get a weight vest.
This is my humble setup. It isn't much but it is mine and I am proud of it. Everything paid for with money saved that I previously spent on snacks and junk food.
this smells of the thirld world, my sensors are tingling
>Everything paid for with money saved that I previously spent on snacks and junk food.
That's awesome
Holy weeb, I would never
show your pole dancing moves
My garage home gym: Just a heavy bag, a pull up bar and a jump rope (both not in pic)
Looks seedy as frick but it's all i need.
I just have a bench, dipping bars, 4 20kg plates stacked under the dipping bar with 2 spinlock 20kg dumbells ontop with a chinup bar and belt ontop of the dip bars and an ab wheels placed there as well. I lift in my apartment then stack it all up in the hallway when done. Never been to a public gym but I made pretty good gains, cant really show a pic because ive got a gf and there are too many homos on this board but anyway.
You can't take a pic of the equipment without her?
ive got one. invest in a good set up. mine has a rack, safety bar, pec fly, lat pulldown all in one machine. lets me do a lot of exercises with it. Get a good oly bar. get a plate rack so its easy to store them. get a bench obviously. then get adjustable dumbbells up to around 100 or more depending on how strong you are. thats basically all u need. i also got a ez curl bar, rowing machine, tricep pulldown cable that clips where the lat pulldown bar goes, and olympic rings to hang off the oly bar in the top rack position.
literally the best one here
recommend me some home gym mirrors
any mirror will do just search online based on the size you want
checked and kek'd
i have a blm yard sign that i stole off some ones lawn. does that count?
Hey 4fit I need input. I want to make a home gym but I don't have too much space. For strength training, will adjustable dumbbells up to 120 each be a good enough replacement for a barbell and rack?
My whole home gym area could probably fit a barbell and rack, but then those would be the only things in there. I need the extra space for a rowing erg and heavy bag.
for strength training it won't be as good but better than nothing
Fantastic
Miss my home gym. Had to leave it to my brother when I left home for work
